NOSE SPECIALIST and It Shows!
It's officially been over 3 years now that I had my rhinoplasty. I knew that I wanted to wait to review in order to make an accurate and honest critique. My family is no stranger to going under the knife. They thought I was crazy to spend so much. They told me to go to their surgeons in Mexico and that it'd only be $3,000.
I've been researching surgeons for years, since high school even. Into college I knew I needed to practice self-love and more, but there was always something stopping me from being my full confident self in every way.
Essentially, I knew I wanted Dr. Rahban because of his podcast and presence on social media. He's always been straight forward and ethical when it comes to his abilities and addresses the issues and dishonesty in the cosmetic field. His podcast even explained what happened to the rhinoplasties my family underwent. It looks nice the first year, then down the road, the nose starts to sink and cave in because the foundation wasn't being built, it's being carved away and that's why the surgery time is so short. Both my parents have caved in noses and can't breathe very well. That was enough to make the decision with Rady. I needed a doctor that was going to explain exactly what we're doing and what is attainable.
When I got my eval, he was more than hospitable and told me that I'd blossom, being so young. I had a nose "exactly like" his niece and he did hers as well. I knew that I'd be in great hands.
I love my nose. It healed so beautifully and being ethnic, it fits my face perfectly. It's not perky or at all unnatural. That was our goal. Even my very close friends and family don't notice because it looks so very natural. He told me that I'd blossom and he was completely right. I've grown and accomplished so much in school and my confidence has soared.
I will say. Over the year of my surgery (2021), there was a lot of miscommunication with the office. All the girls there were polite and very sweet, but somehow I was being passed wrong dates and information from different people every time I reached out. No real shade because we got through it, but I hope that they got communication handled.
