Rhinoplasty. Nose was hit and now I dont like it!

Today I put down the deposit for rhinoplasty. I'm super nervous. My mind keeps going through all of these what if scenarios. Like what if I don't like it? What if something happens? What if I miss my old nose. I'm trying to just remember to trust my doctor. I had went on a few consults with other doctors and just didn't get a good feeling. With this Dr. I knew 100% that I wanted him to do the procedure. I should get a phone call tomorrow to book one last consult. So that we can go over exactly whats going to happen before surgery. Super excited and super nervous!

Oh, maybe I should let you guys know a little about myself:) I'm 32 a mom of one handsome 10 yr old. I've never loved my nose. It just doesn't really fit my face. I still feel attractive with this nose. Lol.. But it is an insecurity of mine. I had never really considered getting a nose job. But a few summers ago I learned down to give a little girl a kiss and she jumped up towards my face. Her head busted me right in the nose. And omg.. it was painful. My nose was a little off center after that. I could tell but I don't really think other people noticed. Forward to about 4 months ago. I got hit in the face with a picture. Freak accident. I'm clearly at the wrong place at the wrong time. Lol.. Well after that day I've HATED my nose. It was swollen and my cartilage on the right side had been pushed down towards the bottom tip of my nose. Everyone tells me they can't tell a difference. But I know ots different. The day after the incident I was driving my son to school and he was like mom!!! Why does your nose look big today??? What happened?? And this child is so considerate of my feelings always. He was just caught off guard. He wasn't trying to be mean. He was concerned. I'm around him more then anyone. If he noticed it in such away. It confirms that it's not the same! Lol.. I now HATE taking pics. Because I've always gotta find the right angle. Which isn't worth the time. Idk.. I'm starting this journey and I hope everything turns out good! This website has really helped give me the extra push. Thanks guys for sharing your stories. It really helps so much!

The date is set! May 15th! I have butterflies just thinking about it. Lol.. I just wish my nose could look like it did before the accidents. Ughhh.. Not really looking forward to surgery. I guess I'm just scared. And I'm scared I'll miss my nose. Lol.. I only hate one side of it. Lol.. The side that was injured. Money is paid! No going back now!

So I was nervous as hell! Lol.. They actually tested me for a UTI because I peed 5 times. Lol.. Nervous nerves. Completed paperwork. Spoke to the Dr. About our game plan. Who was wearing kick ass boots and scrubs. Got hooked to an IV. Lol.. Then I woke up and my mom told me it was time to get dressed. I'm like huh? Have I already had surgery??? She's like yes, it's time to go. She was laughing and were the nurses. Glad I made them smile. They were all awesome! So I was so scared. And when it was over I had no clue. Lol.. I instantly wanted a cheeseburger but the nurse said not a good idea. At this point I'm like mom stick it in the blender! She laughed. Dang it! No blender cheeseburger. Lol.. So now I just finished a cup of McCallisters mac n cheese and few bites of a grilled cheese. I was starving! Sis, I had not eaten since lastnight! A girls gotta eat! Lol.. I feel fine right now. A little drowsy. So please excuse me if this post is super confusing. Just licked back in bed watching cartoons now. I was so scared and the nurse and Dr. Made me feel great! I'll contact the Dr. And let him know just how I'm doing. He wants me to follow up. Which makes me feel good. I like having a Dr. Who wants to stay updated. I'll attach a photo. My eyes are black.
