He Did Not Live Up to What He Promised.

He was nice, but his reassurances were false.

I emphasized that I was VERY worried that he would be conservative and him and his assistant promised they wouldn't be. I didn't know enough to ask if he was going to break my nose - despite the research I had done for months before. He said he would it would be great. I wanted my nose to go inward, and I didn't want it large or long anymore. He gave me a 500 dollar discount. Don't let his lower prices ($7,000 compared to the current norm of $10,000 and up) excite you. Did he not break my nose because he felt that was too much work for what he charged me? I don't know. He did not break and reconstruct my nose, which I'm sure was the only way to get the results I wanted.

The point is, I worked so hard to save the money for this procedure. I was 19 years old. I paid for it on my own. My nose has been my biggest insecurity since I was little. I was so excited and so nervous. He let me down after I trusted his word. He took advantage of me because I was so unhappy and ready for change.

Photographic Evidence

Here's two pictures. You'll see how the bump curved and came back. Not straight anymore. My nose droops a bit in the front. The bridge is not symmetrical. I want you guys to understand that he didn't break my nose and charged me $7,000. Just please understand that he most likely wants your money for the least amount of (bad) work possible.

Yes, the hump came back. How is it even possible? PS. Never go with a surgeon who offers a discount.

Thanks lol. Lesson learned.

I agree that the final result is not satisfactory. Good news is you can get a revision easily but you will have to pay. This surgeon you went to is certainly not a rhino expert.

I'm getting one either this year or next, due to corona. I've been dying for it but haven't scheduled because I'm too nervous. Thank this guy.

Nearly three years later. Horrible.

This is what he has done. Do NOT waste your money. This has caused me so much grief and devastation over the years. My pictures are not the only ones that look bad, either. Look at the results of others here on Realself. Please. Just please.

Did you ask for your money back?

how could I? what do you think he would say?

What would you normally do in a situation like that? It's pretty easy. You bought a service from this "craftsman". The service failed to deliver what it promised - there is a pretty obvious evidence for that too. Therefore, the craftsman should give you money back. That is how an honest business is conducted, unless of course there is a fraudulent element involved, in which case a lawsuit would be appropriate.

I don't know what i was thinking. I was too impatient and I should've waited. Unfortunately I didn't consider asking for my money back and it's been three years, but for the emotional damage, breathing problems i have now, his lack of mentioning my huge turbinates and correcting the septum (which he didn't do because he wanted my money for the least work possible), and his lack of followup, I am looking into a lawsuit.
