Highly Recommend – Professional, Honest, and Supportive Team
I came to Istanbul from Estonia to get my rhinoseptoplasty, and I am now one week post-op. It was my first surgery under general anesthesia.
All procedures related to the surgery went very smoothly. I had my blood tested, along with other basic tests, the day before the surgery. I also had a face-to-face consultation on the same day, after the blood tests. The doctor helped me choose a nose shape that would suit me best, as I wasn’t sure what I wanted. He is very honest and clearly explains which results are not achievable, which is very helpful.
On the day of the surgery, I arrived at Biruni Hospital and had the procedure at 8 AM. The surgery went well, and I woke up from the anesthesia very smoothly. I didn’t have any pain at all—no sore throat, no nose pain—so I didn’t need to take any painkillers. I also had almost no swelling, just a bit between the eyes, and barely noticeable bruising in that area.
The cast removal went very smoothly too. They gave me an additional prescription for a cream to use on the stitches, as I tend to get marks after wounds heal.
All that being said, I’m glad I chose this doctor. Everything was well-organized, the procedure went smoothly and painlessly, and the doctor was very attentive and helpful. His staff is brilliant—everyone, especially the girls working with him, was friendly, positive, and easy to communicate with.
I can’t say much about how I like my nose yet, since it’s only been 7 days post-op, but I liked the shape after the cast was removed. I know it will still change a lot, so I won’t comment more on the appearance just yet. But it’s already fully breathing, so that’s a big win!
