Functional rhinoplasty - absolutely loving my results so far

I should probably add that my breathing is still pretty stuffy can’t really breathe properly as of yet BUT I assume it’s from swelling but just be prepared that it’s not an overnight magical trick (although maybe some people have that experience!)

Honest review! I definitely spent hours on this site reading many reviews on not only Dr Mark but other surgeons and other people‘s experiences with their rhinoplasty‘s. I am going to begin by saying that even though I had spent over 10 years considering the surgery I was definitely not prepared for the recovery process both physically and mentally. Not only was it one of the most daunting but exciting moments of my life it was also a big learning curve and I want to share my experiences with others. The first thing you need to know is if you are unsure about which surgeon to choose I would definitely recommend Mark. He was honest and transparent from the beginning and keeps it real with you in terms of what can be achieved and the risks involved. I had my functional rhinoplasty just over two months ago and am absolutely loving my results so far. I am still quite swollen which is expected and even though it can be hard to not stare at your face all day and analyse the swelling in different areas I know it is a game of patience. I still struggle today with the swelling especially when it makes my nose look uneven! Everyone is different as I’ve learnt but be prepared. Throughout my recovery period I had sent the girls at reception many emails and their response time was amazing. I had emailed them with the most random questions which I thought would be a burden but their professionalism was out of this world and they completely understood all of my concerns. I needed a few more scrips of pain medication and they were very quick to get back to me each time. I think something as simple as knowing that you can reach out at any time and you will receive a response is definitely something you need to look for when choosing a surgeon as you are in a place of vulnerability and the last thing you want is to be left in the dark when you’re going through all these massive changes. I will upload some current pictures and will upload the before and after photos taken by Mark when I go for my six-month check up. I will update this review once we hit the 6-12 month mark.
