Such a big change!

Love my new nose :)

Progress pics and cast removal

Had my cast removed on Day 8 and flew home the same day. Loving the results but still *very* swollen from the front view. More so on the left than the right so looking a bit asymmetrical too.

I also have painful ulcers at the back of my tongue from the breathing tube (I assume) so that's not fun :(

Bruising is going down but still some really stubborn dark patches.

Surgery is done! Went into surgery at…

Surgery is done!
Went into surgery at 9.30am this morning, woke up at 1.30pm. It's now 10.30pm and I'm just in the hospital room feeling a bit drowsy from pain meds but not too bad and very little pain. My nose is still bleeding a fair bit though but the nurses have said that's normal.
I am seriously SO glad I am in Thailand though. The quality of care has been amazing so far, nurses checking on me all the time, gently cleaning the blood from inside my nose and making sure I have ice packs for my eyes. My hospital room is huge. Tomorrow I'll be discharged and taken to the hotel.
My nose is ridiculously swollen under the cast. But that's to be expected. So far so good.
