I contacted Dr. Selim Turan in March 2024 because I was unhappy with my nose—it was unsymmetrical, thick-skinned, and lacked cartilage at the tip, which was especially obvious in photos. I’ve had multiple major cosmetic surgeries before, but rhinoplasty is a surgery that always scared me, as it’s right on your face. However, seeing how many thick-skinned and revision cases he handles, convinced me he was the right doctor. I booked my surgery for November 2024.

The day before surgery, I met him at the clinic. He took 3D scans and discussed with me what I didn’t like about my nose, and showed me what it would look like after surgery. Somehow he managed to give me exactly the nose I wanted, without me giving much direction, because I could have never imagined myself with a different nose.

This was my first surgery done alone. Recovery was very manageable; I had swelling and tiredness, but no pain, and I even went to the cinema 4 days post-op. His team were very responsive when I needed them. I think if you’re inexperienced with surgery, you would want to take someone with you, as you can be quite emotionally fragile when you wake up from surgery. I think it’s the anaesthetic lol.

I am now 9 months post op. My scars healed perfectly, and my nose now looks unbelievable. It looks natural in real life, and photographs so well. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Selim Turan more. I would choose him 1000x over again
