If you have thick skin and are looking for a doctor for rhinoplasty, I highly recommend Dr. Selim Turan! I’ve been researching doctors for almost 6–7 years—I’m very selective and not someone who makes decisions easily. Most of the doctors I consulted told me that, due to my thick skin, there wouldn’t be much room for reduction in my nose. Then, last year, I came across Dr. Selim’s Instagram page and saw that he had significant experience with patients who had thick skin and more prominent noses. Living in the USA, I scheduled the surgery in advance and had a preliminary consultation shortly before the operation. Although I was still feeling unsure, Dr. Selim offered a realistic and honest evaluation, which gave me the confidence to move forward. From start to finish, everything went smoothly—both before and after the surgery. The first week after surgery, I wondered if I had made the right choice—my face was swollen and puffy. I went to dr Selim Turan. And I couldn’t have been happier! Its the best decision I’ve ever made, I knew that I wanted to get a rhinoplasty done, but it was hard to find a good doctor in my home county. So I decided to start looking in Turkey, because I’ve heard that they were the best at nose jobs. And I looked at some doctors and some seamed good but I didn’t find anybody that focused on the front and not only on the side profile. And then I finally saw Selims instagram, I just got a gut feeling that he was the one!!!! (Always trust your intentions) My experience in Turkey was beyond my expectations! Everything went so good and everyone were so kind and helpful. Selim and all his nurses were so kind and talented. I had read that some people thought that he was “stressed” and rushed through their consultation and stuff, but that was not the case for me. He did not feel stressed at all, and he gave me all time that I needed. I’m under 18 and I were pretty scared at first to get the rhinoplasty, but after I had met Selim, everything felt safe. I can just talk about my experience, but I would recommend everyone to go to him, he is a such talented doctor and he’s really good with his patients! And the nurses and the assistants were so helpful and kind. I cant even thank them enough!!!! All the people that work for Selim Turan and the hospital nurses and doctors are so talented and professional!!! I would have done it a 10000 times! It’s so worth it! I love Dr. Turan so much!!!! I’m from Los Angeles, CA, and I previously had 2 nose jobs before I went to see Dr. Turan. My nose was undeniably botched by my previous doctor, and I knew that I pretty much only had one more chance to get it right before treading into dangerous waters if I ended up needing a fourth surgery. I honestly had lost faith in the US so I was very open to going to Turkey. I looked at so many Turkish rhinoplasty surgeons and so many of them are amazing, but I ultimately landed on Dr. Turan because I wanted to find someone with significant experience in revision rhinoplasties. Rhinoplasties are already one of the most complicated surgeries, so successful revision rhinoplasties really require skill and expertise that are rare. Something like 40% of Dr. Turan’s patients are revision cases, and that was so comforting to me. Not only that, but I loved the style of nose he creates—and I could still tell he worked with his patients to give them exactly what they want. And he did that for me!!!!!! The morning after my overnight stay in the hospital after my surgery, Dr. Turan told me that my nose ended up being an extremely difficult case because my previous surgeon had done some horrible work, like nothing he’d ever seen before (and I knew that which is why I was so stressed about finding the perfect surgeon). Still, Dr. Turan worked so hard to give me a beautiful nose. I’m 3.5 months post-op and still have swelling, but I still get SO many compliments on my nose. I’ve literally had random people come up to me in public to tell me my nose is beautiful. I couldn’t recommend this doctor more. I love him so much.
