I’ve been waiting nearly a year to write this review. I first consulted Dr. Selim in October 2024 for a revision rhinoplasty after a previous surgery abroad left me unhappy. I was nervous about trying again, especially with my thick, keloid-prone skin, but he listened carefully and explained why an open approach with cartilage grafting would be best. The whole process was seamless. ?eyma, Tu?çe, and Özge were fantastic: always quick to reply on WhatsApp and able to arrange my consult within days. Hospital care was 10/10, both pre- and post-op, and recovery was smoother than I expected. By around 4-5 months I was already seeing major improvements, and now, at 11 months, I couldn’t be happier. I have definition I thought wasn’t possible. Some expected swelling remains, but it continues to improve. Post-op care has been excellent as well. Dr. Selim even advised me on supportive treatments like Accutane, tailored to my skin type, and the team were always available for follow-up questions. I’ve since returned to Istanbul for unrelated reasons, and each time they insisted on seeing me for check-ups, fitting me in last minute. Truly professional, approachable, and committed. If you’re hesitant like I was, I can honestly say I’d recommend Dr. Selim and his team without reservation.

Honestly, he helped me with my breathing problem, my nasal septum, I don't regret it. Best decision I made. Dr. Turan is very attentive, very kind, and he does what you want above all. You can go there with your eyes closed. The nurses are also very responsive on WhatsApp.

I contacted Dr. Selim Turan in March 2024 because I was unhappy with my nose—it was unsymmetrical, thick-skinned, and lacked cartilage at the tip, which was especially obvious in photos. I’ve had multiple major cosmetic surgeries before, but rhinoplasty is a surgery that always scared me, as it’s right on your face. However, seeing how many thick-skinned and revision cases he handles, convinced me he was the right doctor. I booked my surgery for November 2024. The day before surgery, I met him at the clinic. He took 3D scans and discussed with me what I didn’t like about my nose, and showed me what it would look like after surgery. Somehow he managed to give me exactly the nose I wanted, without me giving much direction, because I could have never imagined myself with a different nose. This was my first surgery done alone. Recovery was very manageable; I had swelling and tiredness, but no pain, and I even went to the cinema 4 days post-op. His team were very responsive when I needed them. I think if you’re inexperienced with surgery, you would want to take someone with you, as you can be quite emotionally fragile when you wake up from surgery. I think it’s the anaesthetic lol. I am now 9 months post op. My scars healed perfectly, and my nose now looks unbelievable. It looks natural in real life, and photographs so well. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Selim Turan more. I would choose him 1000x over again

I’m just one month post-surgery and couldn’t be happier! I had researched many doctors and was even turned down by some because of my thick skin, but meeting Mr. Selim was the best thing that could have happened. Huge thanks to him and the amazing team for their care and kindness. There’s still a little swelling, but I’ll update once I see the final result.

Dr Turan is a magician! I am almost three months post op and know I have a long way to go, but this was truly the best decision of my life. I honestly wish I came to him sooner. My nose was SO bulbous and my skin was very thick, but now it is literally perfect. He is the best for thick skin for sure! His nurses are all so lovely too.
