How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

During my first consultation with Dr. Scamp, I should have trusted my instincts and walked away.
He left me with small, uneven nostrils that resemble straw sizes and punctured a hole in my septum, causing a whistling noise whenever I breathe in—something that's apparently quite rare in surgery. When I raised my concerns, he dismissed them and made me feel like I was overreacting.
Since the surgery, I’ve been using nose dilators at night to help with breathing and increase airflow, which has been my only relief. The surgery was supposed to increase nasal width and support during inhalation and was covered by Medicare as a septoplasty. Unfortunately, that was far from the reality I experienced.
He also performed cosmetic work that I hadn’t requested, mainly due to poor communication, which was a major shock after the procedure. This surgeon needs to improve his communication with clients and be clearer about his intentions; it's a significant procedure, and it's unacceptable to make unilateral decisions about someone’s body.
The lesson here is to find a surgeon you can trust—someone who genuinely cares. When things go wrong, you need to know they have your back. You don’t want to go through this like I have, so choose wisely.
