Best of the Best
Dr. Shemirani is the best of the best! He is not only very skilled in plastic surgery, but he is compassionate and is committed to resolving issues specific to each of his patients.
I had surgery over 30 years ago resulting in a terrible infection, causing great nasal deformity. Though 18 months later my face was reconstructed, I continued to have infection after infection, resulting in hospitalizations, expensive surgeries, expensive infection medications, more deformity, lost time from work, and emotional and physical pain. No surgeon was able to diagnose the cause of the infections. Dr. Shemirani was the only surgeon willing to help me. Not only did he build up my disfigured nose, but more importantly, he discovered the cause of my infections which was an implant placed in my face decades earlier when it was first reconstructed. After years of suffering from serious infections, I am now infection free, and my nose is fine. I can also breathe out of the right side of my nose which I have not been able to do in years. Truly life changing. I honestly believe that had he not worked so painstakingly to diagnose and resolve the cause of my infections, the infections would eventually have spread, taking my life. I will be forever grateful. Great plastic surgeon, great diagnostician, and extremely compassionate. Fabulous staff too!
