Worst Decision of my Life
I am writing on my experience only. Please also read his Yelp reviews.
I had rhino with Dr. Yoo a few years ago, now that I am years post op I can speak on the results.
TDLR: Save your money. You will only get a nose that looks like Nikita Draguns nose no matter who you are or what your nose previously looks like. He can only do 1 type of nose.
My nose looks nothing like we discussed pre op and in fact has all the characteristics that I asked him to occlude. It looks exactly like Nikita dragons nose. Upturned to the gods and over resected. My nose is collapsed, can’t breathe and visibly crooked. There is a cap graft made of the septum on the tip of my nose, it’s so noticeable and looks so bad under flash photography. I’m actually confused why he put it in there, I didn’t ask him to change the tip of my nose. Another surgeon even told my my pre op tip was “quite beautiful” and didn’t really need much work.
The tip of my nose was so overstretched that I get skin infections and flakey skin constantly. After talking to a few other surgeons, it is to my understanding that it’s permanent. I worry of the day my skin thins out in old age and may lead to more serious complications such as necrosis. My nostrils are so crooked and ive been told it can’t be fixed much. Every surgeon I’ve gone to tells me it can only be slightly improved, that’s how messed up my result came out. I have. Severe breathing problems and my allergies got so much worse.
I spent around 20k and to be honest that’s the least of it. The worst of it is that I’m stuck looking like a monster, doesn’t matter who my next surgeon is or how much I pay, it cannot be fixed.
