Feeling fabulous and confident with how my nose was transformed

Dr. Porter and her team of medical experts at Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery did an absolutely incredible job on my face with my rhinoplasty procedure. I would highly recommend this surgeon if you want the best results with most trusted and skilled hands in the field. I would recommend setting up multiple consultations, like I did, so you can learn for yourself that Dr. Porter is the best by far.

I did not like my nose and I wanted a change. After being unhappy and insecure with my drooping and bumpy nose with the way it looked and the breathing problems it caused, I researched every board certified plastic surgeon in Los Angeles and Washington, DC to find the best surgeon who would meet my very high standards of excellence for transforming my nose. I thoroughly examined all surgeons’ bodies of work and after narrowing down the options, I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Porter and a few other surgeons. I found that Dr. Porter had the best track record with facial plastic surgery especially in rhinoplasty where as some of the other board certified plastic surgeons split their time with non-facial procedures like breast augmentations or I just didn’t feel they were as surgically and artistically competent with their rhinoplasties as Dr. Porter was. I wanted the best nose-specialist and that’s why Dr. Porter was my number one choice. What also set Dr. Porter apart was that she and her awesome patient coordinator, Kelly, really listened, paid attention and understood what I wanted and helped figure out the best solution. Dr. Porter and her team made me really feel heard rather than treating me like just another nose to fix as other surgeons I interviewed. Dr. Porter provided honest, insightful feedback for my nose design and there was plenty of time to make sure my nose plan was the best course of action. Also during my consultation, Dr. Porter provided a realistic and conservative expert opinion in a surgical solution that allowed my nose to still fit my face proportionally and not give off too much of a unnatural “operated look.” After all, once your nose tissue is gone there’s no adding it back. Both Dr. Porter and Kelly were present every step of the way from pre-op to the operation and recovery.

I did exactly as Dr. Porter and her team instructed for pre-op and post-op instructions with the nasal saline washes, the ointment for the stitches, also keeping my nose out of sunlight as instructed. Now you can’t even see the scars of the stitches where the incisions were.

I am 6 months post-op from my rhinoplasty and am feeling fabulous and confident with how my nose was transformed thanks to Dr. Porter and her team. My nose looks amazing and just like the way it was always supposed to look. Dr. Porter creates the best most beautiful nose in the business. I am so very happy I made the decision to have her be my surgeon.
