I am 6 months out of surgery and the results are exactly what I wanted

I have been waiting for many years to find the best plastic surgeon to do my nose and correct my deviated septum. I needed a full rhinoplasty and a septoplasty. I watched many famous plastic surgeons on Instagram do noses and I went to see many of them for consultations. I never felt comfortable with anyoneof them. Most of them would focus on telling me how great they were and that they “were the best”. Also, they never spent much time with me to understand what I really wanted for results. Instead, they had their “patient coordinators” try to sell me the surgery. I was eager to do my nose surgery but something was always holding me back.

I found Dr. Anastasatos from my extensive online search. He came up as one of the best plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills and as one of the top 10 plastic surgeons in the world. So, I was a bit apprehensive going to see him at first.

To my initial surprise he was very down to earth, modest, and hespent a lot of time with me. He made the effort to understand what I really wanted in terms of nose shape and contour. He never tried to “sell” me or push me to do surgery. Instead, he wanted to make sure that I had clarity and felt comfortable before proceeding.
Although he did not have many nose pictures online, he did show me more during our in-office consultations. What was striking to me about his techniques was that every rhinoplasty result looked different and beautifully suited for each individual face. This was critical to me because I wanted a specific look and I saw he had done it before. Other plastic surgeons I went to showed me results that all looked the same. I did not feel that rhinoplasty is a type of surgery where “One size fits all.” He agreed with me.

After my first consultation I knew immediately I had found the right plastic surgeon. He asked to see me again twice before we proceed to surgery mainly to talk to me and make sure I felt comfortable and confident about the whole process and the results that he I would get. This was very valuable to me.
I had read he is a perfectionist and a very talented plastic surgeon who is passionate about creating extraordinary results.Dr. Anastasatos appeared to be certainly more artistic and creative to his approach which was individualized and patient-centered.

My surgery lasted about 3 hours. I had an open rhinoplasty with dorsal hump reduction and bulbous tip reduction. I also had tip elevation and rotation, correction of deviated septum,septoplasty, spreader graft placement, columella correction and nostril reduction. Even though he broke the nose bones to make the nose thinner I had minimal bruising afterwards. The recovery from my rhinoplasty and septoplasty was extraordinarily smooth and fast. I had no pain. I had no internal splints in the nostrils which is painful and uncomfortable from what I had heard from all others. The external splint was removed after 7 days and I almost cried from happiness when I saw my results! At last, my dream had come true.

His follow up care was also outstanding. Every time I had an issue or concern about anything and would call his office, he would ask that I come in immediately so he would see me and examine. There were never any issues afterwards but I was anxious about my results and he was extremely patient and always available to me. This is rare and exceptional for doctors today and I have seen many of them in my life for different reasons.

I am 6 months out of surgery and the results are exactly what I wanted. I am extremely happy with my nose. My breathing also is improved. I feel he went above and beyond in his level of care in every way.

As a plastic surgeon he is extremely talented and a perfectionist. As a person he is kind, attentive, caring and compassionate.
His international reputation as one of the best plastic surgeons in the United States and as one of the 10 best plastic surgeons in the world is certainly deserving.
