He Botched my Surgery. I Regret Trusting Him.
Dr. Ellis botched my Reconstruction surgery using a skin graft on my nose in May of 2018. I confess I did not do enough research. Now I'm paying for it. The area he did on my nose is discolored, uneven and asymmetrical. I complained countless times about results. Dr. Ellis and his Staff gave me the runaround for 3+ years about fixing his work. For almost 4 years I have worn a bandaid on my nose to cover the scar. Its a hopeless feeling whenever I look at my face without it covered. Dr. Ellis has canceled appointments and even a surgery last minute. Then in June 2022 he sent me to his colleague Dr. Sidle who quoted me $7k over what my insurance covered to fix what Dr. Ellis botched. Unbelievable. Northwestern Plastics dept in general has been no help in this matter. Was told by office manager Meg that they have a no compete policy amongst surgeons and since Dr. Ellis refuses to fix his work they could not help me any further than me scheduling/paying Dr. Sidle an additional 7k to do it. No THANKS. I am not comfortable with any surgeon on their team with my face again. I trusted Dr. Ellis and he failed. I do not recommend getting any plastic surgery done at Northwestern. Choosing him was a huge mistake. I am now going to a Surgeon in New York to fix the subpar work of Dr. Ellis. Will post before and after as soon as work is completed.
