Dr. Ellis is a world class surgeon with Ethnic Rhinoplasties!!! I was very nervous to get one, as I have seen so many rhinoplasties done of those of African descent come out strange. Dr.Ellis went above and beyond my expectations! My nose fits my face without being to small, and I still look like myself and my ethnicity. His bedside manner and his team were impeccable as well.
My experience with Dr. Ellis has been an extremely happy one. A previous surgery with another doctor had left me very unhappy, deeply depressed, and hopeless to get my confidence back. Meeting doctor Ellis was refreshing in many ways. He listened to every one of my concerns and my goals and assured me he would do his best to achieve them. My recovery was so different from my first surgery, and this time around, within a week, I had nearly no swelling around my face or any bruising, and no bloodshot eyes. At two weeks, no swelling or bruises around the face are present, and when swelling fluctuated at its lowest, I could see glimpses of the final result and I couldn’t be happier and more excited with the natural outcome. During my follow up appointments I’ve had concerns, mainly tied to fears of my first surgery, and again, Dr. Ellis was very reassuring and honest and helped me feel much better about myself and the healing process. His staff at the office are very kind, professional, and always ready to answer questions and help.If I could do this all from the start I would choose Dr. Ellis and will continue to do so through my journey. I feel very lucky to have been referred to him and would refer him to any of my loved ones.
Absolutely excellent dr I’ve gotten 4 procedures and everything looks absolutely natural and almost no scarring he is very in tune with your desired look as well with his expert advice to ensure a pleasing result
Dr. Ellis is great. He took time to explain the procedure. I am pleased with the results. Dr Ellis is a skilled plastic surgeon. I felt confident in his ability. He cares about his patients and I would highly recommend him to others.
Dr. Ellis is kind and a good listener, my first office visit went well, I just had my surgery January 2018. My procedure was Right Breast Mastopexcy, Free Tram left Breast, everything went well, Im healing of course, Im so glad I had this done, being a breast cancer survivor near 10 years. I believe Dr. Ellis was the right Surgeron and his staff make all the difference for a good out come and of course prayer.
I was referred to Doctor Ellis after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After my double Mastectomy, DR. Ellis spent time with me and thoroughly went over my options for breast recontruction. After Careful Consideration, I decided to proceed with free flap reconstruction and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I new before hand that this surgery would be timely and required a PS skilled in microsurgery. DR.Ellis fit the bill and my new breast look and feel amazing. DR. Ellis is an artist beyond his years. He's a perfectionist and he takes pride in his work. Thank you Dr. Ellis for making me feel whole again.
I never liked my profile felt I wanted to do something about it for a long time finally did and I feel good about the final result :-)! Post healing some swelling very little pain for two days. I was concerned that I not would look like myself but it was a natural fit and it looks just like I always want and how I thought It would look and feel. Dr. Ellis where do I begin, he is a absolutely one of the best surgeon in the whole United States! I don't have enough space on here to write as much as I want to! I am so honored to have him as my doctor, he goes above and beyond, he never gives up and fights for his patients to have nothing but the best. He gives you back the confidence and the beauty you once lost. Words can't express enough how much him and his crew mean to me!
After two years I finally got a revision rhinoplasty with a different surgeon and received confirmation of the mess this man left me in. I had rhinoplasty with him back in April 2023, and as soon as the cast was taken off I could tell there was a dent in my nose bridge. As the swelling went down it became even more apparent, it sucked so much to live like this for over two years. He said something along the lines of the cartilage didn’t take and turned to mush which just didn’t make sense to me, I could tell he was not being forthcoming. Fast forward to today, now my new surgeon confirmed to me that the amount of cartilage that had been removed had left my nose completely unsupported and had led to it collapsing on my right side and detaching from somewhere else. Do yourself a huge favor and do not go to this surgeon.
Run away as far as you can I have had surgery with this doctor 2-3 years ago and o still don’t have feeling in my face and chin is crooked run far away from this office their whole Team will mess you up
Both are very safe, effective, and similar in cost. They are both formulations of hyaluronic acid which a clear gel like substance that is found normally in your joint cartilage and is also an important component of normal youthful skin that diminishes with age. In our experience Juvederm seems to last a bit longer. Restylane can be a bit more “form stable” making it a good choice for areas where millimeters count, like the tear trough. Most hyaluronic acid based fillers can be expected to last around 9-12 months. It really depends on the amount and the area injected. Injections should always be performed by a skilled, experienced, board certified core aesthetic provider (Plastic Surgeon, Dermatologist) or a nurse injector working in the office of a board certified core provider. It’s a plus if the surgeon is also a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, a very selective organization that indicates a higher standard of aesthetic surgical training and expertise. It's important that they listen and pick what's right for treatment area.
Common side effects or reactons to fractional ablative laser treatments such as the Fraxel Laser or the Sciton HALO Laser include swelling, redness, skin flaking. The incidence of these is dramatically reduced with the HALO’s unique hybrid synchronous fractional/ full-field energy delivery mechanism. Patients do have some stinging during the treatment and for about an hour or two afterwards. By day three most patients get a bronzed or tan look. Every patient should be asked prior to treatment if they are susceptible to cold sores and pre-treated if necessary. Side effects also depend on the intensity and depth of the treatment. The stronger the settings the more downtime you can expect.
Fractional ablative laser resurfacing is a great treatment for your issue. At our office we use an advanced hybrid fractional laser called the HALO manufactured by Sciton. This state of the art device combines simultaneous fractional ablative laser resurfacing with a full-field erbium laser in a synchronized handpiece. It’s a customizable treatment that precisely targets skin damage, improves tone, texture, fine lines & wrinkles, and reduces pore size along with treating acne scars. The hybrid technology allows us to combine the benefits of fractional and full field ablative laser therapy while dramatically reducing down time and recovery. I would recommend 2-3 treatments to get the best results.
