I’m writing this review so that no one else makes the same mistake I did. I had always been insecure about my nose since I was very young, and I decided to go with this doctor because of his good reviews and because his office offered a payment plan that made the surgery more affordable.
I had my rhinoplasty three years ago, in December, and while both the doctor and his staff were always polite and professional, I truly regret choosing him for such an important procedure..
Something I wish I had known before is that when you choose a plastic surgeon, you shouldn’t only focus on how noses look right after surgery or a few months later. You need to look for long-term results, patients who had their surgery done years ago.
In my case, my main issue was a hump on the bridge of my nose, and that part was corrected. However, the overall result was disappointing. The tip remained swollen and undefined, and after a full year, there was barely any improvement. When I went back for my one-year follow-up, I told the doctor I wasn’t happy with the result.
Instead of showing empathy or professionalism, he became visibly offended. His entire energy changed, and I felt attacked just for expressing that I wasn’t satisfied. When I mentioned that my nasal tip still looked puffy and wide, almost the same as before surgery, he told me something that honestly shocked me: that I couldn’t have a revision surgery, because if another doctor tried to operate on me, my nose would collapse. He even said — and I quote — that he had been “very aggressive” during my surgery and had removed a lot of internal tissue.
Hearing that was devastating. I paid thousands of dollars and was left with a nose that I don’t like — one that he himself says can’t safely be corrected.
I’m sharing this so others can be aware: don’t be fooled by immediate results or the photos you see online. Look for long-term outcomes, research other surgeons, and don’t rush your decision.
To this day, I’m still paying for a surgery that I don’t even like, and I don’t want anyone else to go through what I went through.
The first two pics are the before, the third immediately after and the rest how it looks now
