bad experience - beware!!!
I am providing this review to prevent anyone else wasting their time.
I travelled from UK to Istanbul for a consultation and was told to ask any questions i had following the appointment.
When I got home I sent a whats app message and just said that I was nervous and my fear was getting an upturned nose. (I'm sure you can all relate as the question is one of the most asked!) As you can imagine I was looking for some reassurance and kindness as this is a big operation.
I was then told over Whatsapp that there was "trust issues" . The PA was then very difficult and it took 3 days to find out that they wouldn't "approve me" . In reality that is a very long time to go back and fourth chasing a response. After begging for a phone call to try and talk it through the women was aggressive and made me feel awful. I actually cried as I was so frustrated.
You shouldn't be made to feel bad for asking questions when this is a life changing operation - I can only assume the doctor didn't feel capable of not creating an upturned nose and went on the defence? So very unprofessional and confusing.
I now see this whole experience as a blessing in disguise. Imagine the treatment I would of received after the operation if something had gone wrong?
In summary, I do not want anyone else to waste their time or get their hopes up. I wasted time and money flying from London only to be messed around by Dr Suleyman and his team that lack compassion, empathy and kindness.
