Revision Rhinoplasty with Dr. Robotti

My name is Vicky, I'm 40 years old and my story started 21 years ago at the age of 19. I had broken my nose twice and I had a hump which I really hated! So I decided to go for rhinoplasty! What happened was the surgeon took away to much of the bridge and did not do anything else about it so I was left with an open roof and overprotected top. It took me 18 years to have the courage to do it again!! 18 years that I always thought about my nose. Could not enjoy life because I was too ugly. It was the constant dark cloud above my head. So finely I went for my second surgery! Instead of making my bridge higher again, he cut off the tip so everything collapsed! On the pictures, you can see the nasal bones which give strange angles to my face! It didn’t look human anymore. Still, the open roof wasn’t touched and there was a line between bridge and tip. In all of it the surgeon put filler!! It was 1 big mess! Another 3 years I lived like this till the moment I really couldn’t go on anymore. I did not deserve to live like that !! It was the beginning of a long way of research, doubts, panic attacks, ... but finely I ended up with an appointment with Dokter Enrico Robotti. From that first consultation, I knew he was the one that was gonna fix it! It was my gut feeling! He was so technical and clear. Explained every deformity and how he was gonna fix it! 10 days ago I underwent my surgery. My expectations were not that high, removing the strange corners was 1 of my priorities! After surgery, the doctor told me the nose was even worse than expected but he had had no issues solving the problem! 2 days ago I had my cast removal and I can only say that I couldn’t stop crying of happiness!! This result was sooo much more than my expectations!! I add some pictures so you can see it yourself! I will be grateful for the rest of my life to this doctor! He really gave life back to me! Also, his team with doctor Leone, all caring nurses, lovely Barbara who arranges everything for abroad patients! The whole experience was amazing! I couldn’t be in better hands or a better place! Dr. Robotti is the best!

Today I took of my tape ! And again I was soooo happy to see my nose again!! Immediately I put on some make up because I wanted it to see my new self with make up ! :-) Dokter says there is a lot of swelling but even with swelling I love it! And it’s still slimmer then my before nose without swelling!!

Today 4 weeks PO! Healing goes very well. Scares almost invisible. My nose still feels stiff and hard bc of rib and swelling. But it’s already softer than right after cast removal. I can not say in a 1000 worth’s how happy I’am ! This is really life changing !!
