Literally I acquired the services of Dr. Gantous when my amazing surgeon retired, as I knew my revision surgery with him was not a one-time thing. He passed his practice on to another wonderful Otolaryngologist and Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Gantous. I am so lucky to have had my final surgery with him, as he corrected the tip and has provided fantastic symmetry to my nose again.
I cannot reiterate enough times to say how much time is spent with you and the answers you get to all the questions asked, along with notes taken during each appointment will show you how much trust you can have for the surgeon's way of carrying out planned surgery. I am lucky to have fallen into the hands of Dr. Gantous. See him.... see at least 2 other surgeons for their own opinion, you will then understand what I am saying.
Well, How Did I get to #5, here is my story.....
I had such severe issues, both aesthetic and functional after my second septorhinoplasty (in my eyes, my first surgeon was careless and time-poor, he would have 6 or more people in the waiting room and your time with would be 8-15 minutes). I had to seek the talent of a different surgeon and after 7 interviews with others in the GTA, I found one. I had 3 surgeries following this, #3 was to fix the function which included a rib graft (which provides support), and #4 was to fix alar retraction (which is done only after the structure is in place). This 4th surgery had a risk of having the cartilage bend, which it did over the year and at that time my revision surgeon retired. I have zero regrets with my 2 correcting surgeons, only with my first, so do not fall victim to a story like mine. DO YOUR HOMEWORK and ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS. What can happen with your nose is one thing, how surgery affects other areas of your face is a REAL THING too. Message me if you have questions.

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your story with us. I am considering a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Gantous after my closed primary 15 years ago with a now retired surgeon. I saw three other doctors for initial consults before meeting with Dr. Gantous and he blew them all out of the water with his patience and knowledge. He has recommended doing a rib graft to build up the bridge of my nose and although I am so excited to be going ahead with Dr. Gantous, I am nervous about this part of the procedure. Did you find any long term effects after the rib graft (ie. pain / soreness in that area, tingling for a long time after)? I know that it will take time to heal but I am nervous about making a cut elsewhere on my body.
