WORTH IT$1,400
I visited Skin Raleigh for the first time last month. I had a consultation with Lisa. She was extremely helpful, professional and personable. I left that visit with some skin care products. Re-tin -A, Glytone 4% (skin lightener) and Skin Moisturizer with SPF 40%. (About $160.00) I have been using all three items for almost a month. They work slowly but they have started to fade my dark spots very lightly. So for me the products are awesome, and I will continue to use them. Lisa made me so comfortable and patiently answered everything I wanted to know. She truly is an expert, does not rush your visit through and honestly I knew I was scheduling another appointment as soon as we walked out of the room. Ok, second visit, I had Voluma (for the first time ever)! I immediately saw the lift. I only needed one syringe ! Her goal is not to sell you on products that you don't need, but to ensure you are happy with the results of whatever you do need and get. I only needed one and that was just enough to give me that very natural lift, that I wanted. I also, received Restylane for lip injections. Ok, so I have had Botox, Restylane and Juvederm (not Voluma) before, but I have never had someone take as much time on these procedures before Lisa. Sometimes I wonder if all of the reviews I read, and (believe me, I read and read before finally picking Skin Raleigh), but anyway, sometimes I wonder if the hype some people get is truly real. We let me tell you Lisa at Skin Raleigh really is wonderful! I am so happy with my lip injections for the first time ever! She and I went through the process together and every so often she would show me the results and together we would decide if it needed to be twerked or what not. Ok, so for the actual procedures. My lips did bruise very slightly. For about 5 days. But she lined my lips, something no one has done before, this gave them more shape, and she also injected the inside of my lips to pull the inside out a little more, again no one has ever done this either. The inside was what bruised. But it really wasn't bad, and I covered up most of the bruising on day 3 when I went back to work. 2 to 3 days later, they were no longer bruised or swollen and they are perfect for me :) I will not be going to anyone else for lip injections! I love them! Ok, so for the Voluma: I was hesitant just because I have never had it. But if you are considering it, I say go for it! It does help lift the face! I did have a small bruise on my left side. But it was very faint and again covered up with makeup. I am going back for Botox and filler for under my eyes in a couple weeks. And I have no doubt (for the first time again) that she is a perfectionist and will do another bang up job! (I will update you after)

Well TY! So one half of the syringe went on each of my cheeks. For a total of one syringe. The difference is subtle but it did lift my cheeks. I didn't want or need a drastic difference. I wanted something very natural almost as if I got a good amount of rest. Maybe I should have posted the before and after from the actual day. You can definitely tell the difference.

bonitachloe I added the before and after picture for you to see. It was taken on the day of the actual procedure. No make up, absolutely nothing, lol! As you can see, subtle but definitely a difference. It filled my cheeks out just enough to give me a more refreshed look. Not sure if you're considering this , but hope this picture is able to help! Thanks for your questions.

I'm thinking about making a consultation at skin Raleigh after reading your review! Was it $1400 total for lips & cheeks? 2 syringes?

My apologies, haven't been on here in a while. The 1400 was for one syringe of Voluma, one syringe of Juvederm for my lips and my skin care. My husband and I moved to Florida this past fall and unfortunately I won't be using Lisa for my work anymore :( I am looking into places now. But I highly recommend her. She is phenomenal!
