This is a Filler - It Attracts Water and Forms a Gel

Do not be confused about claims that it’s a harmless “non cross linked” water. Within one day my face became large all over and you could palpably feel a thick gel form in each cheek. This gel definitely wasn’t there prior to injection as I regularly massage my face and do gua sha, and know that the thickness of my cheek before was maybe 1 cm and now it is almost an inch thick of gel on both sides, particularly thick at the backs of the face where it was injected . The messed up part is it’s also thick at the bottom of the face where nobody wants to add volume. Maybe the water initially sinks to the bottom and then it forms a gel. I would do anything to reverse this. I just went to a plastic surgeon and she refused to try to dissolve it because she said profhilo spreads all over and to dissolve that much surface area could cause damage to the skin. I would take regular gel fillers or even surgery over this any day because at least those are precise and you can control where the volume goes. Profhilo is not precise. And two of many of the injection points are at the back and bottom of the face which can make you look fat and lose your cheek contour.
