Bra Rolls look like Bra Logs

No More Drama
$7,800
So far, my recovery is going well, except my bra rolls look ginormous!!! My bruising is almost all gone on my thighs and I never had any on my abdomen. I know it's only been 2 weeks, but the bra roll thing is ugly. I can see my new waistline coming along and I know I have to be patient. I can't wait until my next post-op (next week) to see if this will be ok.

Weird lipo bruising pattern

No More Drama
This is so weird. I had lipo on my flanks, abdomen, and thighs. There is major bruising on my flanks and thighs and nothing on my abdomen. It is so weird. While I think I can feel some work was done there, I would expect that part to be bruised as much as the others. Is this normal?

Thank you! So far so good. I was in surgery for 2 hours instead of the 1 1/2 like they thought. Hoping that's a good thing :-) in still real sleepy & dizzy from anesthetic. Pain is tolerable & keeping ice on all the areas they did. My husband is wonderful, not sure what is do without him. I've kept this surgery quiet from everyone else, including my kids. Thank you for asking about me, that was thoughtful. Lets keep in touch

Will do! I'm going for my first post-op tomorrow (can't wait so I can finally take a shower)! The compression garment on my thighs is really tight. Hopefully, I can have a few minutes a day to take it off completely! I'll let you know how the visit goes. Get good rest and let your hubby spoil you! :)

Had shower and post-op yesterday - whoo hoo. I told him that I still felt some dizziness and he said it was normal, but he thought I was dehydrated. He recommended extra water and Gatorade for the next few days to see if that would help. When his nurse was helping me put my compression garment back on, she recognized it was way too tight, saying it should compress, not constrict. She went and got a garment in the next size and it feels so much better. It's still tight, but the hooks are not leaving those deep indentations in my leg. Whew. Otherwise, he said that even though my thighs are really bruised, I am fine. I can start massage therapy in two more weeks and exercise in another two weeks as well. So overall, all is good. How are you feeling? Hoping the anesthesia effects are wearing off for you as well! Take care! :)

Glad to hear your post op went well. I'm sure the garment feels so much better now. I too was having a lot if dizziness. I thought it was from the pain meds so I stopped taking them yesterday & used Tylenol & ibuprofen instead. But, had to start them back last night & again this morning, the pain was just too much. My legs are the worst. They sting real bad & not only are they bruised but really red. I'm hoping it isn't a hemotima. I read a little about those but never experienced it. My post op is tomorrow afternoon, which can't come soon enough! My husband says he can see a differ ce in my midsection ready but I'm not seeing anything, probably because of the swelling. Are you seeing any differences yet?

Made It!

No More Drama
Whew! Made it. This time, though, a little more pain. My thighs are killing me but not my waist. I guess through 2 C-sections, 1 hysterectomy, and one tummy tuck, my tummy muscles and nerves are used to it.

The thigh compression garment is a killer. Cracks me up that they are crotchless!! Other than that and feeling hot (I've taken my temperature and no fever), I'm good but still woozy. Will check back later. Congrats to my other 8/14 sisters and brothers that had a procedure and good luck to those ahead.

Boy, am I surprised at how sore my thighs are, but nothing in my stomach area feels great. My first post-op isn't until Tuesday and I can't wait to see how things look. It's nerve wracking!
