Just over 6 weeks and still healing...

D25
$6,000
So, it's been just over 6 weeks and I am feeling disappointed. There has been some improvement, but I don't think it was worth $6 at this point. I still have some deep bruises, hard spots, numbness in one area, and red dots from all the needles. I thought I would be summer ready, but that is not the case. I am even more embarrassed to wear shorts right now. I have gone in for 2 follow-ups. They were going to take pictures, but felt I should wait until I was healed. Since my skin is taking so long to heal and they knew I wanted to be ready for the summer, they suggested using some lightening cream for a couple weeks and to go into their office for a couple of lightening treatments by machine to speed up the healing process. I will have my first treatment this week. My husband says my legs look better, but is also upset that it's taking so long to heal. I would not recommend doing this procedure near summer or spending the price at this time. I am hoping things will look better in 6 months as they say, but I am not feeling very optimistic right now.

I am so sorry to hear of your dissapointment. I have cellulite as well and am doing Venus Legacy right now. My third treatment will be this coming Saturday. I thought about doing your procedure. I feel its a little too invasive than what I want to deal with. I am hoping that in the near future there are some better options for us. It sucks to spend money and not get the results we want. I cant say that I am extremely hopeful for my procedure but I am trying to be. Keep me posted on your results. I am hoping you end up getting the outcome that you want. Cellulite is a very disheartening part of a womans life. Someone has to do something about it in our lifetime. I am struggling with it too and looking for a solution.

Let me know if Venus Legacy works for you. I have read mixed results on it. I agree that this procedure was very invasive. I felt like the procedure was minimized, when it's not. Especially, when you are treating as many areas as I did. This is still a pretty new procedure and they think I will look my best in six months to a year. Time will tell though. Maybe I should have waited to see other results first. It just seemed so promising and the treatment made sense to me. I will keep you posted. Please let me know how your results turn out as well.

Are you going to post anymore photos? Are you continuing to improve?
June 7, 2016
I hope things improve for you. Would you mind posting again and continue for 6 months months so that we can see your complete journey? All the best and the holes should heal up nicely over time. Are you using any scar creams?
June 8, 2016
Thank you, Eva. I will continue to post, so people can see my journey. I am using the cream they told me to use and sell, which is for scars. It helps by lightening the skin. It's typically used for your face and acne scars. I am sure the holes will heal, but I didn't realize this would happen. I did a lot of research and this wasn't an issue that was mentioned by anyone else. Maybe I am a special case?
June 8, 2016
What is the name of the cream please?
Has no one else mentioned the holes then?
June 7, 2016
Thanks for sharing. The only thing that seems to help me are squats and hamstring curls. I've gotten to the point where I really like to do them, but watching what I eat is another story. Hope you have healing in your near future.
June 8, 2016
Thanks for sharing what exercises help you. I will give it a shot!
June 10, 2016
Yes keeping weight off helps as does exercise to look toned.. But cellulite does not go away on some people no matter what they do.
June 10, 2016
I had cellulaze amd. Doing Cellfina on Tuesday.. I have to say your results are far far better in six weeks than I got in a year of cellulaze healing.. Be patient and yes I see such an amazing difference with Cellfina that now I am doing it...
June 10, 2016
This sounds nuts but rumble roller aND fascia blaster really helped get my cellulaze looking better I think just depending on one thing is not gonna work.i am in the biz.. I can say I have tried almost everything... And so far Cellfina seems to show the most promise
June 15, 2016
The fascia blaster is unbelievable! Years of weights, cardio, eating "clean" still left me with dimples and lines. I have only used it about five times and my legs are already improving!
August 15, 2016
I agree it really worked and helped me post cellulaze and now cellfina...the rumble roller is great also to use with the fascia blaster..really helped pop some of the treated areas out...cellulaze helped the bands ...i did fascia blaster before and after the procedure...definitely worked faster after.....when I had to heal from the cellfina i had to wait about a month..as it was too tender and all...but after a few days back on the fascia blaster and rumble roller..i saw more improvement..it cannot be a coincidence ..i also feel better and have more range of motion..i love them

Is there a particular brand that this fascia blaster is?

Is there a particular brand that this fascia blaster is?
August 26, 2016
Yeah, I can see that being useful. I may try it in the future.
June 12, 2016
Could you please tell me what the cream is that you are using to help with the scaring?
August 26, 2016
It was just the name of the place I went to that was on the bottle. I am sure they pay someone to manufacture it, I didn't see a difference though.

How are you feeling? Are you happy with results thus far?
May 12, 2016
Hi, thank you for asking.

Yes, I am happy with the results so far. Of course I see the imperfections of what they couldn't touch in some areas (no go zones), but I knew that going in. Nothing is perfect. I have to remind myself that. I do feel it is significantly better than what it was. I still feel the price is very high for the procedure though, so in that aspect I am not sure it it worth the price.

I am still feeling sore. For example, I cannot have my 9 pound dogs on my lap yet and at times it still hurts to sit. So, I will be glad when I am completely healed.

Glad your'e feeling better. Today I am 1 week out. I will post pic on my profile today. I started working out at day 5 and haven't experienced any more swelling but it is a much lighter workout than my norm. No weights yet. Just curious on your results on the front of your legs...Have you seen a faster/better result in certain areas? My Dr would not do treatment on the fronts even though I had a couple dimples right above my knees.

What is a 'no go zone' and why won't they treat it?
May 23, 2016
Unfortunately, that area is off limits. I guess it can change the shape of your butt, so they don't do that area.
May 11, 2016
Results look great!!!

I can see a huge improvement ! Congrats ! I am looking back to getting this done here in Denver and will keep looking for pics from you .. Grateful to you for posting

Thank you, Maria! I appreciate your feedback! Let me know if you decide to do it.
May 13, 2016
Thanks for letting me know that you had it done too. I looked at your photos. Are you happy with your results? Do you have any before pictures? That's great you were able to work out so quickly. I think my healing was so much worse because I had nearly 100 areas treated. I don't know if anyone else on here has had that many done at one time. I haven't been back to the gym yet, but part of that was due to my husband having surgery. I am still surprised your doctor wouldn't treat the front of your thighs. For me, they wouldn't go right above my knees either just as they couldn't go right under my butt, but they went as close as they could to both areas.
May 13, 2016
Oh and to answer your question, I don't think I have seen a faster or better result in certain areas. However, I do think the front of my thighs have the most improvement by comparison to the sides of my legs and butt.

Looking and feeling better. I have noticed some hard spots under some of the bruises, which are areas of inflammation. Hopefully, that won't take too long to resolve. Let me know what you think.

Thank so much for sharing! I think you are having amazing results. Such a huge improvement. I have been thinking about doing this procedure and I too have suffered from cellulite since I was in my 20's despite being thin and exercising. I am now 60 and I am hopeful after seeing your results. I hope you continue to post your photos.
May 4, 2016
I think it looks pretty good so far. Thank you for posting such great photos- and in good lighting- so important to really compare before and after! I hope it turns out great for you... I'll be following your progress in your photos!
May 6, 2016
Thank you! Just trying to make sure people get a good idea of what the process is like. I hope it turns out too. I will keep posting photos.
May 4, 2016
what kind of treatment was it what is it called
May 6, 2016
Cellfina
May 6, 2016
thank you
May 6, 2016
I can already see an improvement. Have you been using arnica cream or pellets for the bruising? I just had cellfina treatment today on my butt and back of legs...about 30 releases. Hopefully I don't experience the discomfort you had to endure. It will all be worth it. :-) I can't wait to take off the bandages tomorrow. They also sent me home in a depend-like diaper over my compression garment. Lol I plan on still using some cotton padding tomorrow just in case there's some leaking. I wish I took some before photos and photos w/markings. I'll have to get from Dr at 1 month post op.
May 6, 2016
Thank you!! I have been taking the pellets. They said take 5 pellets 3 times a day. I hope you post photos of your butt and legs too and that it works well for you. I also hope you are not in as much pain, but I have 3 times the amount done, so you probably won't have as much pain as I did. I hope it will be worth it. I wish they gave me a diaper, I needed it for the leakage. lol Keep us posted.

Thank you!!! I am glad you can see a huge improvement. I feel happy with it so far, just waiting to see the final results. Cellulite stinks, but most (about 90% of women have it). I will keep posting photos. Thanks for your feedback.
