Just over 6 weeks and still healing...

$6,000
So, it's been just over 6 weeks and I am feeling disappointed. There has been some improvement, but I don't think it was worth $6 at this point. I still have some deep bruises, hard spots, numbness in one area, and red dots from all the needles. I thought I would be summer ready, but that is not the case. I am even more embarrassed to wear shorts right now. I have gone in for 2 follow-ups. They were going to take pictures, but felt I should wait until I was healed. Since my skin is taking so long to heal and they knew I wanted to be ready for the summer, they suggested using some lightening cream for a couple weeks and to go into their office for a couple of lightening treatments by machine to speed up the healing process. I will have my first treatment this week. My husband says my legs look better, but is also upset that it's taking so long to heal. I would not recommend doing this procedure near summer or spending the price at this time. I am hoping things will look better in 6 months as they say, but I am not feeling very optimistic right now.

How are you feeling? Are you happy with results thus far?
May 12, 2016
Hi, thank you for asking.
Yes, I am happy with the results so far. Of course I see the imperfections of what they couldn't touch in some areas (no go zones), but I knew that going in. Nothing is perfect. I have to remind myself that. I do feel it is significantly better than what it was. I still feel the price is very high for the procedure though, so in that aspect I am not sure it it worth the price.
I am still feeling sore. For example, I cannot have my 9 pound dogs on my lap yet and at times it still hurts to sit. So, I will be glad when I am completely healed.

Glad your'e feeling better. Today I am 1 week out. I will post pic on my profile today. I started working out at day 5 and haven't experienced any more swelling but it is a much lighter workout than my norm. No weights yet. Just curious on your results on the front of your legs...Have you seen a faster/better result in certain areas? My Dr would not do treatment on the fronts even though I had a couple dimples right above my knees.

Unfortunately, that area is off limits. I guess it can change the shape of your butt, so they don't do that area.

Results look great!!!

Thanks for letting me know that you had it done too. I looked at your photos. Are you happy with your results? Do you have any before pictures? That's great you were able to work out so quickly. I think my healing was so much worse because I had nearly 100 areas treated. I don't know if anyone else on here has had that many done at one time. I haven't been back to the gym yet, but part of that was due to my husband having surgery. I am still surprised your doctor wouldn't treat the front of your thighs. For me, they wouldn't go right above my knees either just as they couldn't go right under my butt, but they went as close as they could to both areas.

Oh and to answer your question, I don't think I have seen a faster or better result in certain areas. However, I do think the front of my thighs have the most improvement by comparison to the sides of my legs and butt.

Looking and feeling better. I have noticed some hard spots under some of the bruises, which are areas of inflammation. Hopefully, that won't take too long to resolve. Let me know what you think.

Thank so much for sharing! I think you are having amazing results. Such a huge improvement. I have been thinking about doing this procedure and I too have suffered from cellulite since I was in my 20's despite being thin and exercising. I am now 60 and I am hopeful after seeing your results. I hope you continue to post your photos.

I think it looks pretty good so far. Thank you for posting such great photos- and in good lighting- so important to really compare before and after! I hope it turns out great for you... I'll be following your progress in your photos!

Thank you! Just trying to make sure people get a good idea of what the process is like. I hope it turns out too. I will keep posting photos.

what kind of treatment was it what is it called

I can already see an improvement. Have you been using arnica cream or pellets for the bruising? I just had cellfina treatment today on my butt and back of legs...about 30 releases. Hopefully I don't experience the discomfort you had to endure. It will all be worth it. :-) I can't wait to take off the bandages tomorrow. They also sent me home in a depend-like diaper over my compression garment. Lol I plan on still using some cotton padding tomorrow just in case there's some leaking. I wish I took some before photos and photos w/markings. I'll have to get from Dr at 1 month post op.

Thank you!! I have been taking the pellets. They said take 5 pellets 3 times a day. I hope you post photos of your butt and legs too and that it works well for you. I also hope you are not in as much pain, but I have 3 times the amount done, so you probably won't have as much pain as I did. I hope it will be worth it. I wish they gave me a diaper, I needed it for the leakage. lol Keep us posted.

Thank you!!! I am glad you can see a huge improvement. I feel happy with it so far, just waiting to see the final results. Cellulite stinks, but most (about 90% of women have it). I will keep posting photos. Thanks for your feedback.

Has no one else mentioned the holes then?
