Horrible Experience
I am reminded every day how mutilated I feel. Dr. LaBrasca performed a panniculectomy on me. I developed a "surgical" infection," which delayed my healing and required further surgery. I had necrotic tissue which needed removed and left me with a horrible result. I regret not getting a second opinion, which I frequently do for any procedures. It was a horrible experience. I was admitted to DuBois Hospital on the anniversary of September 11th for further surgery.
When I went to Dr. LaBrasca to address my serious infection, he had me walk with him from his office, previously located in the Medical Arts Building, to the DuBois Hospital. I found this very odd and very uncaring on his part. I had an open wound with pus seeping from it.
Years later I continue to regret my decision to be treated by Dr. LaBrasca.
