FINALLY doing this!!!!! I just had my consultation with Dr. Vistnes in Palo Alto, CA, and I scheduled my surgery right after. I have always been pretty bottom heavy, with a big butt and hips but A cup boobs. Victoria's Secret told me I'm a 32C but that's bs haha I'm 100% an A. I'm so flat that pushup bras don't really help, and I've always hated it. I feel so self conscious in bathing suits and don't like guys seeing me naked. I don't think my boobs are ugly or misshapen or anything, they're just so small that it makes me look manly on top. I've known since I was 16 that I was eventually going to get my boobs done to look more feminine, and since I just got my first real job I thought I would give myself a BA as a college graduation present.
At the consultation, the doctor used the computer software that shows you what you will look like with various sized implants. The image I liked the most was the one with moderate profile 600cc implants, but honestly I think that was just the software making it look different than it will in real life, and I think I will likely end up going with something around 450-500cc. I want to have natural looking cleavage but also some side boob, so the doctor recommended I go with a mod profile wider implant, but we won't know for sure until I try on sizers in real life at my preop appointment which is on June 28.
Ultimately, I want to have natural-ish looking boobs, but not too natural because I'm not paying this much $ for nothing lmao. My doctor says I am an ideal candidate for a great outcome from implants, so I am hoping to end up with PERFECT boobs when I'm all healed up! :)
I'll give a full review of my doctor and everyone in the office after my surgery

I'm not sure why your doctor is telling you that you won't be able to fit 550-ish cc's. With your measurements I think a D or even DD would probably just be proportional, it wouldn't even look that big on you. I started out 34A-B (I wore a 34B at Victoria's Secret before surgery) and ended up a 34D and I've had no problem whatsoever with my size, I could've gone bigger no problem. There are tons of girls with smaller frames than us who get upwards of 600-800cc's and they don't have issues with the implant not fitting.
The way my doctor did it was he had me try on various sizers and just had me pick whichever one I thought looked best on my body. He didn't tell me how many cc's each sizer was, and when I asked what cup size he thought I would end up he wouldn't give me an answer, saying that every store has different versions of each cup size. I think he purposefully did not want to answer that question because many people will have their mind set on a certain cup size letter, when really you will end up the happiest if you just pick a size that looks proportional without worrying about the size letter. I did it his way and am extremely satisfied with my result.
For post-op, starting 4 days after surgery I was instructed to do breast lifts by lifting the bottom of the breast up and down with a flat hand, this was to help prevent capsular contracture. It hurt at first because the wounds were still so fresh, but after a week or so it didn't hurt too bad anymore. After 3 weeks, they weren't dropping fast enough so I had to start compressing the implant from the front with my hands to help stretch out the skin below the nipple. I haven't been very diligent about doing that though so they still have a lot of dropping to do. They'll still drop eventually, it just takes longer if you don't do the exercises, but I'm not really concerned about how long it takes as long as they get there eventually. I had to postpone my 2 month appointment so I'm not sure what the next set of instructions will be, or if there will be any.
I hope this helps! Good luck with your sizing appointment!!

your results look great! but i really just to say i consulted with this doctor over the summer and he said the same exact thing to me, which is that i'm an ideal candidate for a great outcome. i look quite different to you too, so that gets me wondering if he just says that to everyone. however he seems to do a good job otherwise. i'm hoping he meant it and that we just both happen to be great candidates for this procedure!

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Vistnes! At my pre-op appointment we decided on 560cc high profile implants, because I wanted a full D. Yesterday I started to freak out a little, thinking that 560cc was going to be too big, and I really don't want to not be able to fit into my shirts anymore, and I was afraid big boobs would make me look fat lol. But today Dr. Vistnes told me I basically had no option except the 560cc and that this was the size I decided on and he thought I should stick with it, so I did. And I'm so happy!! I think that 560cc is actually perfect for my body type, since I'm a little on the tall side. I can already tell the result is going to be amazing.
The pain was moderate when I woke up from anesthesia, but I took a couple of percocets and now I've been feeling great since. I don't need anyone to help me go to the bathroom or anything, I feel very capable and alert.
