So when my little lower belly pooch is covered up, my belly looks great! But if you look at a picture where that pooch is exposed, it looks absolutely horrible. I hate it and I am already thinking that I will need a revision....the doctor told me not to sit so much. I can't help it, I have a desk job. I get up and take walks frequently and if someone had told me, before surgery, that I couldn't sit for a few months at work, I would not have been able to have the surgery. I am not a rich, retired woman who can lay around all day. Has anyone else heard that they shouldn't sit after lipo??

Can it put your ab board lower? Also push it up on you pudge so that your pudge goes up and flatten out.

I do wear my ab board very low. It actually hits the top of my legs. I hasn't helped at all. I massage myself very vigorously every night as well.

Yup, I tried the tape method using medical tape. It left some really bad marks on my belly. The belly board didn't flatten it out. The funny thing is that right after surgery, that area was completely flat, so I know he took all the fat out of that area. What I have been reading is that there are fat cells that were damaged in there, along with fluid, so you have to continue to massage to break it up, then your body absorbs it.

I've had 5 lymphatic massages, which were definitely worth it. She recommended that I get a deep tissue massage, so that will be my next move.

I didn't have any skin tightening procedures done. I don't think I need it, but I won't be 100% sure until that 6th month mark!

Still swelling

Still swelling every day. In the morning I look great, but by the time I get home from work I can feel myself blowing up. You can see the swelling in the new pictures.

There is a huge difference tho between now and then pictures despite the bloating. I've read we have to have patience to see the final results as they are slow coming.

Still recovering

Well, I'm still recovering. I don't have any pain at all, but I still have a good amount of edema and I can't wait until I am fully healed. My upper abdomen has shrunk down, and only shows minimal swelling, but my lower abdomen is as hard as a rock and swollen. I am having lymphatic massages done (they are wonderful). Monday will be my fourth one. They have really helped. It seems like my home massages aren't accomplishing squat.I have had to stop wear the compression garment (Only wear it at night) because it makes me swell worse. Not sure why I am the exception to that rule, but whatever. I still love the fact that I can bend over and don't have a big gut hanging down, so I am satisfied with that. My doctor assures me that my lower abdomen will get better, so I am holding him to it. I have also been cleared to exercise again, so I will start running again. I'm sure it won't be pretty after sitting around for so many weeks, but I spent good money to have this done and I will be damned if I'm going to let it all go to pot because of not exercising.I will keep everyone posted!
