Feeling Good, Feeling Great

Today is POD4, and had to break out of the house. I was able to drive and run errands for a couple hours. I was worn out when I got home though. It felt so good to finally get out; I was going crazy being in the house all day. I really believe the Vita Medica recovery kit that I bought from my surgeons office is the main reason why my recovery hasn't been difficult whatsoever (I'm feeling pretty great). I haven't been in any serious pain. I took two of my pain medications only to see if I would help knock me out because my sleeping pills weren't working. The tightness in my chest has started to ease up (thank goodness). I've been rubbing cocoa & Shea butter on them to avoid stretch marks as the implant settles. I'm being careful not to get any on or near my incision. I'm also able to sleep on my side, but my PS wants me to continue to sleep upright until my second post up appointment on Tuesday.

Day One Post Op pics

I had my first post op appointment yesterday. I was able to snap a pic of the gals without that dreadful bra. I'm still feeling okay. My chest remains really tight and a bit swollen. I'm just trying to take it easy for the next couple of days.

I Have Tatas!

My surgery is complete and was complication free. I actually feel fine (must have been those drugs they gave me before the surgery. The nurse was very surprised that I was up talking like nothing happen; I expected to be way worse than I feel. My chest does feel really tight though. My surgery got delayed 2 hours due to the patient before me running longer than they had expected (she was getting liposuction), but they kept me comfortable while I waited. I was sleep the entire time because I was so hungry and thirsty. Like most ladies have said. I don't remember being knocked out, but when I woke up my nurse (she's incredible) was right by my side with a cup of ice water waiting for me. I love the staff at Fiala Aesthetics, and my PS. I love how he's a perfectionist, and made sure everything looked great. I can't wait to see them at my first post op appointment today.
