Tomorrow I'm scheduled to have liposuction of my saddlebags. I am doing the lipo under local anesthesia. I'm nervous, because I've seen reviews on here (for different drs) where not enough anesthetic was given and the girls could feel it. Yikes! I don't want that!
I'm scheduled to show up at 9am and then surgery is supposed to start at 10am. I'll try to post some before photos while I'm waiting for surgery in the morning.

Day of treatment
All done!

I arrived this morning at 9am. They took my vitals and did a pregnancy test. I wasn't waiting long before the doctor came in to talk to me and draw on me.
He was very nice and made sure I agreed with the treatment areas I outlined. I drove myself for the procedure so I only took a benedryl and some tylenol. I got to leave shortly after the procedure was done.
The nurse who was helping me was amazing - very, very caring and calm. I don't remember her name!
The doctor said the pain would probably hit about 4hrs after surgery. I went home and tried to get some work done before I started the pain meds. I took half a pain pill about 3:45 after surgery and then went to take a nap. The pain started to creep in right before the pain pill kicked. I could have used the other half, as I'm still in a little pain but I didn't know how it would affect me. I will take more when I get something to eat.
I've posted a before and a couple of after photos. I can already see a difference on my fatter side. The other side has a big swollen lump that's bruised. It was like that when I got off of the table so I figure it's nothing to be alarmed about.

3 days post
3 days po, back at work
flagirl2017April 25, 2017
I'm now 3 days po. There hasn't been much change in my size since I came home after surgery. I think I may be a bit more swollen but not much.
My pain hasn't been horrible and I had no trouble returning to work today. I have an office job.
I hope the majority of the swelling goes down soon so I can get an idea of the results. I have had NO drainage at all.
My right side still has the swollen lump, which is getting bigger. I have my post op appointment tomorrow and will see if there's anything in there to be drained. That side is considerably more sore than the other.
