Breast Lift W/ Implants on 26 Y.O Mom of Twins

4-ish Year Update

WORTH IT$11,995
I got a comment asking if I ever got a revision so I figured I'd make another update.

The Good:
I still don't wear bras and my boobs look great in almost any outfit. I still have to wear pasties so my piercings don't show. I LOVE the silicone "grippy not sticky" ones by Cakes. They don't stick to me, making them painful to take off. They're just grippy enough not to move around and they're invisible under even my thinnest tshirts.

My boyfriend still loves my body, even though I've gained a bit of weight. (Keep in mind he didn't think I needed to get a lift in the first place though) I'm probably about 145lbs now. Most of my weight is in my butt so I don't mind. But It's making me want to go back for arm lipo.

The Bad:
The asymmetry still bothers me, especially the fact that the implant on my right side (left in the front facing photos) sits higher than it should and affects the profile view somewhat. I might be the only one that notices it with clothes on but my left breast is still bigger/lower than the right.

For now I've decided not to go back for a revision right now. I'll probably get like a crescent lift and change to smooth implants in a few years. Sooner if my skin starts to loosen and sag again. If I could go back in time I might have chosen a different surgeon, but at the time I was doing my research, his photos were the closest to my goal. I just didn't like the approach he took in response to my concerns. I don't feel I should be expected to pay again when I wasn't at fault for the issues I was experiencing.

That being said, I've learned to live with it and I'm happy enough with the outcome due in part to the support I get from my family.

Hi! When I looked at your pictures I thought you looked great. I think that unless someone points out a slight asymmetry in size, you really don’t notice it. Honest. Of course, you live in that body, I don’t but I can see why your boyfriend said it’s not noticeable. We are pretty hard on ourselves as a rule. I do understand how you feel- my tummy tuck breast lift with implants is scheduled for April 22. We all want to feel we are the best we can be. I had major surgery that left hideous scars on my abdomen and a belly that isn’t flat. 3 big babies only made me more self conscious about my tummy. I’m 63 and fixing it now. Boobs are sagging some. Doing it for me. But your breasts are still beautiful, the asymmetry looks minimal in pictures. Good luck to you as you decide and move through this journey.
Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words from an outside point of view. I hope you have a smooth recovery for your surgeries and everything turns out better than you envisioned.

I also wanted to add that I haven't regained 100% of sensation to my areolas. Getting my nipples pierced still hurt so it's not all gone but I can certainly notice a difference, especially along the scar outlines.

Thanks for updating us on your progress and I'm sorry to hear that your doctor didn't live up to your expectations. You worked hard to pay for your procedure and you deserve to have the exact results that you want. With that being said, I hope that you are still feeling loved and supported.
Thank you! I've been very lucky to have total support from my friends and family. But I agree, my procedure wasn't cheap and we all should get the results we're hoping for.
My experience has been similar when I've been unhappy or had concerns. From what I see on here or am told by others, that's pretty common. I think I saw ONE woman post on here hating her results and her surgeon agreed and revised (for free). He was in TX, but that's the only one I've seen! My original surgeon who botched me twice (I regrettably let him revise one side, and he made it worse!) I had my revision (both sides) by a different surgeon and I'm overall happy with my results, but did have questions and concerns and wasn't thrilled with his response either, so I'm convinced it's common.
Wow that’s terrible! I hope you are super happy with the results now!
That's terrible! I'm so sorry you had to go through that but I'm glad you're happy with the final result. If a surgeon really did stand by their work, they wouldn't expect patients to pay (again) to fix a mistake they made.
Thanks. What I failed to say (which was my whole point, that's what I get for replying on my phone instead of a computer lol) is that my original surgeon who botched me kept saying the same things. Never taking responsibility, finding a way to blame me, LYING, and at my last "follow up" a year later when I wanted my medical records (ohhhh did he get mad at that when I told him I was going for 5 other consults for revision), and the icing on the cake was I point blank asked him if he thought I had good results and he said YES! I got up and left, never to go back. And, like you, while I had some asymmetry that I clearly stated I wanted corrected, I came out WAY more asymmetrical that before going in. He literally chopped off 1/2 of my SMALLER boob. Long story I still need to do a review on him and my new surgeon, but I'm just so disappointed at how quickly patients are disregarded when they are not happy with their results, or have questions/concerns. Anyhow, I agree with you. But it's the risk we all take and sign away prior to surgery. BTW, my original botched surgery was $10,000. My revision?? $17,100!!!!
Jesus Christ, that sounds terrible. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. You'd think with the amount of money we spend on these procedures, there would be some kind of satisfaction guarantee. I can't believe he tried to blame you for a botched job. If there's one thing men always have, it's the Audacity!
Have to pay for anesthesia, all meds, supplies and salaries for the time. It would be reasonable if he or she would sacrifice his time and talent for a do over. We have to be real about accepting that some complications go with the territory. Like infections happen. If it wasn’t handled by limits set by the standards of care, personally, I’d run rather than stay with a substandard PS. Anyway, I agree- a good surgeon would revise at a much reduced cost. Man, complicated subject. We pay a lot for these procedures so we should somehow be compensated if we trust him enough to revise.
Oh wow! I’m so sorry to hear all this! Sounds like that PS had an ego problem. Seeing another surgeon is your preference. You can get a copy of your records. See his support staff and fill out a request. You want a copy for yourself, nothing wrong with that. When you get to your next surgeon, the office can request on your behalf. So sorry this has been such a stressful experience. And expensive. My breast lift with implants is going to be around $13,000 but at least the PS connects with his patients and gets on board with the patient’s desires.
I’d say your “Girls” turned out perfect..!
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words!
Your VERY Welcome Dear. . .!!!
My wife is 47 & has always had medium B-Cup boobs, & 1 kid 20 years ago. Anyway, nature is taking its course & she’s greatly considering getting her “Girls” a make over so to speak. That’s why I joined this site, & to gain better knowledge when discussing it with her as to not sound like a male pig, or insensitive.
I'm glad you support her and encourage her to do what she needs to be comfortable and feel beautiful in her own skin. I hope she has a great result and everything works out
I second that.

Over 1 year update!

So if you read my previous updates, you know I was having some issues with symmetry. I relayed these concerns to my PS and he had me get an ultrasound to see if there were any underlying causes like a seroma. As expected, the ultrasound came back clear and there's nothing medically wrong with my breasts. I can also see some dimpling in the vertical scar when I lift my arms up or when my muscles are flexed. It's less noticeable if I'm standing normally but still bothers me.

Unfortunately since it's a cosmetic issue, if I want it fixed, I'd be expected to pay for a revision. To me that's crazy, because if the doctor caused the asymmetry, they should fix it for free. He basically told me that I should be happy that at least they're better than they were before. That rubbed me the wrong way. You can see in my before photos, my breasts were very close in size/shape. I never expected them to be 100% perfect but the surgery adding an issue I never had before is dissappointing. The only saving grace here is that with clothes on, you can't tell there's anything wrong right away.

For my next surgery, I want to have a BBL and was considering going back to Dr. Opp but after his response to my concerns, I'll most likely be looking elsewhere.

Hi, did you get the sensation back?
Not completely, probably around 75-80%
Thank you so much for replying. I'm scared of losing sensation, and the scars not going away. But your look amazing!
Of course! The doctors like to say you won't have any loss of sensation or that you'll get it all back but realistically you should expect to have less. That being said, the loss of feeling is along the scar lines (areolas and verticals) and doesn't interfere with my nipples themselves much at all. If you're worried about it having much affect sexually, I haven't had those issues.
I had Dr Anthony Williams highly recommend him I’m thrilled with my results I’m a 51 year old woman who fed 2 babies in my 30’s I’ve now got breasts I’ve always wanted even previous to babies with very minimal scarring 8 weeks post op good luck
My nipple sensation not fuller back to normal hoping it does though but I was told the chance of this happening was likely
I hope it does go back to normal for you.
