Face Lift and Upper Eye Lids

I recently had a face lift performed by Dr. Johnnie Mao with wonderful results. I wanted to do this for several years but had certain reservations. Primarily I didn't want to have general anesthesia and I also worried about results - had seen too many pictures of bad results. When I first met Dr. Mao I was very impressed and felt immediatly at ease and when he told me he could do the surgery with local anesthesia and some oral drugs I was delighted. He assured me he had a lot of experience doing face lifts this way. As well as his expertise and experience, Dr. Mao has a lovely calming personality and caring way. He really cares about his patients and only wants the best results. He inspires confidence and I had no fear at all in handing myself over to his care.I knew I was in good hands. I had my neck, jowls and upper eyelids done and I couldn't be happier with the results- I think I look fantastic - I look so natural that even my sister didn't realize I had anything done - which was the result I wanted. I had very little pain and a great recovery - I was out and about in less than 3 weeks looking great. The whole experience was actually enjoyable. My good friend and I had a lot of fun - we atayed 2 nights in a local hotel as I live in New York - dined in the local spots, went shopping etc. Of course both of us were thoroughly charmed by Dr. Mao - He is such ajoyous, delightful man and I'm so happy I found him. He takes great pride and pleasure in the good results of his work. I am a 79 year old active woman and now I think my face matches the way I feel - active and happy!
