It's hard to believe it's been almost 7 months since my breast aug. I can't imagine not having them now. Everything has been smooth sailing, and I love them. I was asked to post some update photos so here are a few with no padding (just underwire, some padding and some with a tank top. I am really happy with my results. The odd thing is, in clothing I can completely hide them and you would never know I am a 32D. But without clothing, you definitely see major breasts . It's nice that way, because I work in an office so I can tone them down and it's not hard to dress and look appropriate. On the other hand, if I like, I can wear a little padding and a lower top and I have way more cleavage. I like having the option. Overall, clothes fit much better, I feel more confident and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

What size implant did you get?
User Avatar
May 11, 2017
Hello, I got 255 cc on my left side and 300 cc on right side under the muscle, memory shape implants. I had some asymmetry so this is why I had two size implants. It looks much more even now.

Hi, I got 255 cc moderate plus on my left side and 300 cc high profile on my right side because I had some assymetry. Both sides look much more even now

Thank you . Do you know if memory gel is only silicone from mentor or is there a regular silicone ? My dr just told me he does mentor only and said he does memory gel round only
User Avatar

Mentor has both silicone round implants and silicone memory shape implants. Memory shape has a tear drop shape, and is a little firmer (so it keeps the tear shape) Memory round is round silicone gel. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions !

6 Weeks Post Op- All is Great

User Avatar
Plum425
I am a little past the 6 week mark and everything is great. I can sleep comfortably on my side now, I normally use a down pillow to cushion a little still but I can sleep comfortably on my side. I went and tried on a few bras the other day and the most comfortable was a 32D but I can do a 34C in some brands. For now, I have been wearing a coobie bra everyday because they are so comfortable and there is no wire. Now I'm spoiled and don't when if or when I will want to go back to other "normal" bras from VS! I have had a few girls ask about how my new boobs look in a bra and If there is enough cleavage so I thought I would post a few photos in a bra, in a coobie soft bra and in a tank (with the coobie bra underneath) I am still living my new boobs, and I would do it over again in a heart beat. They feel apart of me now, and it's weird to imagine not having them. I am so happy I made this decision. I love that I feel more confident, and I love that I can just wear nippies (little sticky nipple covers) and go braless under a tank or strapless top no problem! It's a lot of fun also shopping for new tops where you don't have to worry about wearing a strapless bra (if it's open in the back) or a little lower cut etc. So many tops fit better now, more than I had imagined. I'm very happy.

Wow! They look really good! Somehow they look bigger than 32D! Have u been sized at VS?
User Avatar
November 29, 2016
Thank you! I was sized there about 10 days after my surgery as 32D. I took these photos last night at a different store. I think they look a little bigger because it's a Demi cup, so it shows more boob. When I wear a cup that covers more they minimize it more. That being said, I don't feel like they look like 32D in person! I always thought a D was super big, but they aren't overwhelming at all on my frame (5' 5" and 113 lbs) but I really like the size/shape

They look great! And I'm addicted to my Coobie bras as well.

Looks great! Congrats :) I am D1PO and trying to figure out how the swelling will affect size and shape. Any thoughts?

Hi- I feel like the size didn't change much for me, but the shape did after the swelling went down. The shape got better and better. I would say after the first week, the selling went down for me and I saw more of the tear drop shape which I like. My surgeon did say that after I got my stitches out (under the breast) the bottom part would fill out a bit more and I would be a half cup size more. In the end I am a 32D and can also wear 34C in some bras.. But it hasn't changed much since the first week size wise

Congrats by the way on your surgery! Are you feeling good?
December 3, 2016
Yes! I've been pleasantly surprised by how the recovery is going. I've kept up with my pain meds and haven't had pains much as just some minor discomfort. The worst part has been the nausea, from anesthesia and then I took some on an empty stomach today (dumb). I'm POD2 and I swear they are already softening a bit!

That's so great! I also was nauseous from the pain meds and ending up not taking them on day 2 and just taking Tylenol I think it was (I asked my surgeon) and that helped. I am glad you don't have pain. I didn't have any pain either, just tenderness or if I stretched the wrong way it was uncomfortable.. But no real pain. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Do you mind posting a pic with a t shirt on? I'm similar in weight and height and I am unsure of CCs.
User Avatar

Hi, I haven't posted any photos in clothes because I've been wearing sports bras only since it's only 12 days post op. So I don't have any normal bras to wear under clothes- and when I wear a sports bra it holds them in. My coworkers can't tell I had a breast aug because I can still wear the same button ups and sweaters with Camis underneath when I wear a sports bra. You can definitely tell there is a change when I'm wearing a tank top- but again, all I have is a sports bra right now so you can't see my chest really- just the sports bra and the tank. I would say if you're looking to not be obvious and don't want to look top heavy, let Dr Song know. He was great about recommending CCs for my frame to achieve this look. I personally love that I can dress in sweaters and button ups and no one knows I had surgery, but I can also put on a tank top or different loose top and there's definitely a difference. But it depends on what your preferences are :) When I buy a normal bra I will post photos with a tshirt so you can see

Hi...sorry if i missed it, but would you mind sharing your ribcage measurement immediately under your breast? Thank you!
User Avatar
October 28, 2016
Hi, directly under the bust it's about 26.5"
User Avatar
October 28, 2016
Thank u so much...that it very helpful. U must be so petite, I measure 30.5 inches. Although, my boobs are so small now it's hard to identify where is below my bust. I may be measuring closer to my nipple and getting a bigger result. I'm trying to get a sense of the size of your chest vs. mine and if I should choose 255 or 295 mod+ anatomicals. I feel like you are otherwise similar in size. I'm Asian. So I think my body is much more straight than yours...maybe asians carry width lower, who knows.
User Avatar
October 28, 2016
I'm Asian too :) I'm half Korean. I am narrow small/according to my surgeon. I measured literally right under my incision and its 26.5". I would just show your surgeon photos of the look you're going for and he should be able to tell you what size is best for your frame
User Avatar
October 28, 2016
I think I must be big for an Asian, lol :) I'm gonna measure again a little bit below my bust where I expect the incision to be. I will def defer to the PS advice, but I just want the information and to be able to ask informed questions. So thank u sooooo much for your help! For example, u and hinaflaca both have ribcage measure of 26.5" and both have 255cc. You each look spectacular but different....I would be thrilled with results like either of yours. U start off with so much more boob than I have...so that remains my biggest unknown as to how it will influence the result. I think there are many good results, but there is undoubtedly an advantage appearance wise when u start with a little cushion. Btw...do u think you'll be able to wear cute clothes braless? I keep reading / seeing posts of especially girls with anatomicals (maybe because a little firmer?) that have perfect shape without a bra. Anyway, that is super exciting to me!

I definitely think I will be able to wear cute clothes braless. Even last night I was wearing a soft tank around the house without a bra and it looked nice. Right now, I have to wear a sports bra mostly because nipples are crazy sensitive/sore. But later on I know I can wear just the silicone nipple covers and wear all kinds of tops if I want. I love the shape personally of the memory shape implants

I hope your recovery is going well! Other, than bigger starting boobs, I think we are built pretty similarly. I'm totally excited thinking about 295cc and achieving a result similar to yours!
November 22, 2016
What bra size did u end up with? Are you happy with the size and memory shape implants?
User Avatar
November 23, 2016
Hi, I am 34C/32D. I absolutely love the size and I love the shape. I'm so happy with them - they are big enough and yet not overwhelming for my frame :) Yours look great as well! Love the sIze we picked!
