After years of hiding the extra skin and fat around my middle and hips, buying clothes to cover up the area I decided to have a Tummy Tuck. I had exercised and worked with a personal trainer who told me I could maintain but never get rid of it. When I would go out with friends I was always self conscience about my appearance in that area. I had had a hysterectomy years ago that left me with this ugly skin hangover that just got worse over time. I was tired of the constant battle, so I went in for a consultation.

51 an doing something for myself

dsbj1234
I went in at 6:00 a.m. and was quickly taken into the surgery area were I met the nurses and Anthologist, they were very informative and out me at ease. When I awoke I had nurses around me who talked to me and told me what to expect. I was dressed and out by 11:00. The nurses called me checking in on my progress as this was an outpatient surgery. Although I admit there was more bruising than I expected it was tolerable. At the follow up the next day, we went ome where the nurses checked in within a few hours than again a few days later to see if we had questions. It was very reassuring. Three months into my recovery I believe this has been the best thing I have ever done for myself. I feel great and I look great! And for once I'm looking forward to summer clothes!!! Yahoo!
