My Facelift Chronicle

It’s been 4 months since my facelift surgery. Most of the swelling is gone. I can actually feel each layer below my skin healing one by one (slight numbness, some tingling and a little itchy). Scars in front of ears are not noticeable. it was a job well done. I’m so grateful. Thank you doctor b.

Before choosing my cosmetic surgeon, I relied heavily on patient reviews and the before and after photos that accompanied them. I appreciate and thank each patient who posted pre and post op photos. They were extremely helpful in making my decision. So I thought I should do the same hoping to help another decide with confidence the perfect surgeon for them. I paid a lot of money for this surgery (worth it) so I thought I would show it off.

I loathed looking at my face in the mirror. At 60 years old, all I saw was a haggard, aged, worn out, old lady! My face did not match the enthusiasm, excitement and elevated energy I had for life inside. I wanted to look as good as I felt. I have always made it a priority to take good care of my body, mind, and spirit through nutrition, exercise, and Ayurveda. It was now time to make my droopy, sagging, tired looking face a priority. My mission was to find the best aesthetic surgical doctor for the job.

So I started an in depth online research to find out everything I could about facelifts. I watched virtual videos of facelifts being done. I learned all about the latest techniques and different kinds of facelifts performed. I read every review and viewed every before and after photo I could get my hands on from many different websites. I spoke with many aesthetic surgery center nurses, staff, and doctors about the procedure and made many facelift evaluation appointments. After all, this was my face that was going to be surgically detached and then reattached. I wanted to be thorough, well equipped, and well informed before I selected the perfect surgeon who was going to perform this surgery on my face. I wasn't going to settle for anything less than an across the board 5 star rated plastic surgeon.

My very first evaluation appointment was with Dr. Bruneteau at the aesthetic surgical images center. To my good fortune, after speaking with Dr. Bruneteau, there was no need to search any further. I was confident he was the surgeon for me. he had the skill set, experience, safety record, 5 star evaluation reviews, appreciation and passion for redesigning a matured/aged woman's face into a masterpiece.

It’s been 6 weeks since Dr. Bruneteau performed my facelift surgery. I look and feel like a million bucks. The quality of my life has been extended and enhanced twofold. Worth every penny. Thanks Doc! Mamas got her groove back!
