I am writing to share my review thus far on my cellfina results. I have always had cellulite on my butt and thighs since Ive been a teen. While I have never been overweight, cellulite has always been an issue for me, and as my 30th birthday is approaching I thought I would give myself the gift of cellulite removal through a Cellfina treatment. The procedure itself was unpleasant but not horrible- the swelling, brusing, and oozing was not great but a price I was willing to pay to get rid of my stubborn cellulite. Now that I am 9 weeks post-op I am highly concerned about my results. I have tons of puncture marks, discoloration around my butt and thighs, and still many lumps and bumps. My butt and thighs look WORSE than before. While the large dimples are gone, i now have numerous small swellings in new areas that look worse than the cellulite, as well as some hard nodules on my thighs. One nodule is particularly visible. I went for a follow up appointment with my provider and she assured me I would heal up and that these side effects were even a positive side that I would have a stronger collagen production ultimately. Is this normal? Some of the nodules are getting smaller, but it's very gradual so it's hard to be sure. Can some docs please weigh in? I'm pretty depressed at this point.
