After many years of thinking about it and wanting...
After many years of thinking about it and wanting to do it, I finally decided to have lipo on my saddlebags. My original plan was to interview 2-3 doctors to discuss my options and then go with the one where I felt most comfortable. Dr. Krochmal’s practice came highly recommended to me by a friend, so I started there and made an appointment for a consultation. I was so impressed from the get-go – Dr. Krochmal is so very nice, engaging, and spent time answering all my questions. I got such a good feeling about him and the procedure that I didn’t look anywhere else and quickly made up my mind to schedule surgery.
The entire process was easy from start to finish. I still can’t believe I waited so long to do this. The pain was completely tolerable – I only needed pain meds the day of and the day after surgery. I did have lots of bruising which was not a total surprise because I bruise very easily so I somewhat expected it. I’m 4 weeks out from surgery and still moderately swollen, but I can already tell a huge difference. I didn’t realize how self-conscious I was about how my saddlebags looked until I no longer had them. It feels so liberating not to worry about the way they look anymore!

Dr. Krochmal is truly a special doctor. He is kind, engaging, and immediately puts you at ease. I never felt rushed during our appointments, and he was willing and available to answer any of my questions (no matter how mundane) that I had after surgery. I am so happy that I finally had this surgery and especially that I chose Dr. Krochmal. He’s wonderful!
