I just got the new Mentor Memorygel Xtra (HP) today (I put in tomorrow’s date to give me a fair chance to rate follow up care etc). I couldn’t find any reviews on these because they are very new but I’m excited to try them out. I just got out of surgery an hour ago and will brainstorm on the best way to go about the review so I capture all of the stages!

I’m not sure yet! They do project a lot but I am only a little over 2 weeks out so the shape is still a little weird whenever I look at them without a bra. I also downsized from 500ccs to 355ccs so I’m a little worried I went too small but things haven’t fluffed yet or dropped much. My best recommendation is to make sure you don’t have any asymmetry because you will definitely be able to tell with this projection..my last two implants were mod+ and the same size and looked even...but with these, one looks a lot bigger than the other...I’m hoping one is settling faster and that’s all it is, but for now I have a slight slant in shirts I’m noticing and it’s driving me crazy!

hello , i wanted to see how you were feeling and how was the whole process, iam thinking about down sizing as well, i have 400 cc HP mentor now and i think i want to go down to a full c or somewhere around there, iam a 36 DD now and 34 tripple E. it makes me feel so heavy , and even makes me feel so much bigger than what iam, so hard to shop for tops, and dresses. how was your pain ? and did you have to have a lift ?

I’m feeling good thanks! I was a 36DD with my 500ccs but I felt it made me look way too top heavy and it gave me way too much side boob and made me look crazy in sweaters and hoodies...which could of been because of the mod + profile. I like the new HP on me because it doesn’t make me as wide at the top, but I think I went a little too small for my preference 150cc change was more drastic than I realized...also one seems noticeably smaller now that I’m not creating as much cleavage, so I’m probably going to have another revision and may bump up to 400ccs. I would say I’m about a full C to small D now but it’s only been about 2 1/2 weeks. I had a lift with my 1st surgery so I didn’t need one with this revision. It was a little more painful than the first couple revisions but it’s because he had to do so much pocket work on me because mine had bottomed out and migrated more towards my armpits.

Thank you so much for your reply back I hope that you end up liking it and results that’s the one thing I’m afraid of is choosing A certain size and then not liking it but I definitely want to go a lot smaller than I am now looking more into a full C , I also had a lift on my first surgery but I don’t know it seems like to me my boobs are a lot more saggy now not sure if it’s just the implants or if they have just sagged over the years, I meet with the PS next Tuesday just for a consultation hopefully it goes well I really want to do this in the next few minutes that way I’m all healed and ready for next summer!! Thanks again for your response back ! Hope to hear more on your updates .

I had my 1st BA with a lift in 2015 with another surgeon in the area. I picked 500cc saline under the muscle, I wanted high profile but he suggested mod + would be best for me. A month later I decided to get a tummy tuck by the same doctor, after having one kid, I needed one for my self esteem. I had him work on the nipples during the TT because they weren’t even. About a year later my skin completely stretched out and could not hold the implants up making them look deflated. I then shopped around for a surgeon to do a revision but the best price was with my original surgeon so I went for it again. This time I did not heal well, I blistered all around the Areola causing a lot of discoloration. My right boob did not close and was completely open. My surgeon waited to see if it would resolve itself using algicell sheets but it did not. He sewed it shut resulting in a square shape and ugly scarring. They were perkier this time after a year but still started to sag a little and the scaring was terrible, they looked nice in bras and clothes but not nude. I decided I needed another revision and this time I would go with a different surgeon. I ended up going to Dr.Schneider who agreed I needed to downsize and suggested I get silicone impants to maintain a better shape. This time during the revision it was all about the shape, big boobs to me are pointless if they don’t have a nice shape. We worked things out for me to get the new mentor xtra memorygel in HP. The projection is higher than that of my salines, also I did not like how much my boob stuck out to the side before, it made me look odd, so Dr.Schneider did a lot of work on my side boob area to hopefully stop the new implants from falling to the side. Here are some pictures of the 500cc saline mod + that I had. I also got my nipples tattooed darker after the surgery before this, because they were shinny and an odd color after the surgeries. This time there was no work on my nipples, I haven’t gotten to ask the doctor about this yet, but I’m hoping because of the way he positioned these they look even.

So I feel like I have some asymmetry going on. My right one seems bigger than my left one. And when I look down I notice a slight slant. It’s really frustrating because when I put on normal bras the right side doesn’t fill out the bra enough to match the cleavage of the left. So I like the left side but the right side is still depressing, especially since I blistered on a previous revision augmentation and was expecting most of it gone with this revision. My surgeon wants to wait and see how these heal before he decides to cut out the scars even though I thought we agreed to do it with this revision. I feel like we have to redo that boob anyway because it’s way smaller than the other. Now I have to probably wait 2 more months before this is solved ahhhhhh. I’m trying to not look down this asymmetry is killing me.

You look amazing. I am going with mentor xtra. I am currently a 34 b and my surgeon suggested 450 cc to get me a d cup. I just hope that these implants will give me cleavage because my breasts have a gap in them and it gives me the roundness I want

Thanks! Are you getting the high profile or the moderate plus? I have a lot of projection with the high profile but I’m starting to think the width is too small for my frame and I should of stuck with moderate plus! I will probably get a revision to go bigger and will aim for 400+ I had 500ccs but they were way too big for me.

I think the mentor xtra are in between a high profile and an xtra high profile . I worry they are not wide enough as well . I want them completely round with a full upper pole

Worry about not having enough cleavage as well
