Double chin be gone!

I have had a double chin for so long I couldn't even tell you when I DIDN'T have one. It ruined my engagement pictures and my wedding pictures and I just decided that enough was enough. Unfortunately mine is genetic, so it was tough to even try to get rid of. I used to be heavier when I was younger, but have slimmed down everywhere except my face. So I opted for chin/neck Lipo. Consultation was 10/30/18& my procedure was 10/31/18( wasn't wastin any time here!) Surgery day was okay. Procedure was more than I thought pain wise, but I got through it! Lots of swelling and tenderness.

I felt like a blowfish. My entire neck and chin were swollen to the 9's. I was still a little woosey so that helped lol I will post pics for the day after so you can see if swelling went down at all. The procedure was more painful than I thought. Once tj3 numbing medicine kicks in, just feels like awkward tubes in and out of your neck. I had wet paper towels over my eyes so I couldn't see what was going on (probably wouldn't want to!)

Swelling has drastically gone down. I am very very tender especially in my neck area. I've been keeping frozen mini bottles of water around my neck and chin; it's helped with pain a lot! I see my Dr. Today for a post op appointment to see how everything looks. I haven't taken the wrap off (too scared! Haha) so I'll let her do it. I'll keep you all posted!
