Review of Dr. Jacono Rhinoplasty

Dr. Jacono and his staff have been extremely kind and helpful throughout the whole process of my rhinoplasty...and I am very happy with the results!! Growing up, I was always very self conscious of my Grecian nose, and as I transitioned into an on-camera career, it became even more noticeable. Oftentimes at photo/video shoots, the photographer would spend a significant amount of time trying to get a good angle, but even with all his efforts, in every shot, I always noticed my nose above all other features. At the age of 22, prior to starting a new TV job, I decided to get the surgery done. None of my friends or family had gotten a rhinoplasty before, so I did not have anyone to ask for advice. After researching online, I came across Dr. Jacono's website. Following a Skype consultation, I knew he was the right doctor for me. He was very kind as he explained the process, including what he could do to improve the appearance of my nose. When I arrived in NYC for the surgery this past July, Dr. Jacono spoke with me beforehand, to discuss exactly what I wanted him to change about my nose. He also offered advice on what he believed would look good on-camera. After this meeting with him, I was not overly anxious going into surgery, because I knew he both understood what I was looking for, as well as had the expertise to construct a nose that would look good from all angles--thereby appearing much prettier/more feminine on-camera.

In the weeks following the surgery, I called up his office with many questions, and received answers very promptly. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. In regard to the results of the surgery itself, other than the first week when it was very swollen, no one noticed that I had gotten a rhinoplasty. My own grandmother didn't realize there was anything different. Some close friends noticed a change, but couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was. It certainly is a significant change from my previous look, but it still looks very natural as opposed to "fake," which is exactly what I had wanted. At present, I am only 3 1/2 months out from my surgery, and it already looks great. I am looking forward to seeing continued results over the next several months. On-camera, my face looks much more well-proportioned, and I have significantly more confidence with my on-air presentation. I highly recommend Dr. Jacono to anyone interested in a rhinoplasty. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon, and am very blessed to have had this experience.
