Dr. Neinstein is a talented and caring doctor. He's been treating me for a congenital deformity over the course of several surgeries and I'm really happy with the results. He was the first plastic surgeon to respect my wishes by not pushing me to have breast implants to treat my condition, instead opting for a newer technique of fat grafting. He's been great about keeping my expectations realistic and I feel like he genuinely listens to my concerns and wishes regarding every surgery we do. Along these lines, he has a great bedside manner. He's never pushy or arrogant (which is sometimes the impression I get from surgeons) and always spends enough time with me to talk through a procedure and make sure I understand what's going on. He's reachable via email for questions and I never feel in the dark about my treatment. He's also just a really nice guy. It may sound simply, but that counts for a lot. Plastic surgery can get emotional. We all have our reasons for doing it and none are invalid, but I think especially when it's for something that genuinely needs "correcting" as opposed to "enhancing," it can be really fraught with baggage. As someone who has had to work hard to cover up a deformity I've had most of my life, finally making making this change has given me a whole new take on myself. I feel so differently about my body, how I look and how others look at me, what I can wear and even how I move. It's really fantastic and I can't thank Dr. Neinstein enough. His work has been truly life changing.
