Had a 2nd bbl with Dr. Schuman which was a big mistake

So in 2019 before Covid was upon us, I decided to get a revision BBL with Dr. Shulman because I felt like I had a butt now from 2018 but no hips and I had wanted hips too so that you could see a more hourglass figure from the front. That was just a dumb idea on my part because adding hip when you don’t really have hip looks very unnatural and it ended up being very unnatural looking on me. After reviewing Dr. Shulman‘s portfolio and seeing pictures from another doctor I wish I had gone to originally, I can see now that natural looking results aren’t really his forte but at the time I just really hadn’t seen enough examples to get a gauge on that.

After a couple years once the fat began to really settle in after both procedures with Dr. Schulman everything just dropped and even though I worked out regularly with strength training and boxing and Pilates, my butt just no longer looked good. It looked dumpy and like a diaper, my worst fears. People would make comments about me at the pools in Vegas or guys would come up to me and ask me about my butt. It was completely embarrassing. I emailed his office about getting a reduction, but no one ever responded to me, which made me feel even more hopeless and alone.

Ladies, I have to say if you want a BBL please ask for something modest, but make sure you go to someone who can really shape your body. You really don’t need a lot of butt, especially if your surgeon can really shape your waist. Dr. Shulman refused to touch my stomach because of previous liposuction, but when I had Lipo 360 done by someone else later on it really did help change the entire look of my body. You need someone who can really sculpt your body.

Some current after photos - 3 months post op

Overall I’m pretty satisfied with how it turned out given how little fat I had to harvest. I wish my waist was smaller but I think it’s still swollen since my love handles were really scooped during my operation. Fingers crossed it narrows down a little over the next 6-9 months. Yaye I got my own juicy little booty!

Limited Donor Fat BBL with Dr. Schulman

So far so good! I had a bbl with Dr. Schulman in June and I’m still healing but it’s coming along very nicely. Some argue that he’s super expensive compared to other doctors (especially in Miami) and while that may be factually correct, you can’t put a price on safety or peace of mind that you won’t end up deformed. Never do a discount when it comes to plastic surgery.
As you can see from my before photos, I had a weird body shape going in due to previous lipo that left me with limited fat donor sites (I guess you could sorta call me a skinny bbl even though I’m not skinny haha). Despite that, Dr. Schulman was able to remove 3,000 cc from me (back, love handles and a bit of my inner thighs) and place 1,000 ccs per butt cheek/hip which was way more than previously estimated. I wanted more of an hourglass figure so my fat distribution was mostly in the hip part of my butt. I told him I wanted rounder hips and a narrow waist but I didn’t want anything obscene since clothes are hard enough to shop for with a 34DD chest!
FYI, I accidentally gained weight due to work and stress before my surgery which made me gain 10 pounds which I don’t recommend people doing at all. I’m trying to get back into the gym now with strength training to get that down. As long as I keep my proportions, I’m happy.
My one comment so far about everything is that Dr. Schulman doesn’t recommend lymphatic massage after surgery and I think it should be. For me it absolutely made a difference. Start having them done a week after surgery but ONLY on the lipo’d areas and no where that had fat transfer.
Currently my body stats are as follows:
Bust: 40 (same)
Waist: 30 (before 33)
Hip: 42 (before 39.5)
Thigh: 24 (before 25)
I will post my afters shortly!
