Turning 30 and Ready to Roll Back my Years.

I won't deny it - I have a certain degree of vanity. I've always taken pride in my appearance and have made great efforts to care for the body I've been given: regular exercise, vigorous skincare routine, wearing sunscreen, eating healthy. But one thing that no amount of effort on my part has been able to remedy is my hairline - which since my mid-twenties has been gradually receding. As any man (or woman) knows from experience, this can be (and is for me) a big source of insecurity. It's simply difficult to look in the mirror and see a significant component of your youthful demeanor continually shrinking, year after year. So after biotin, brushing, minoxidil and other topical treatments proved ineffective, I've decided to take more drastic measures and receive a hair transplant. Thanks to the wonderful community here at Real Self and the insightful reviews I've combed through, I've found a doctor who I think is well-suited to meet my needs. For my procedure, I will be receiving an FUE transplant of 1,600 grafts - specifically relocated to my crown, but mostly to lower my receding hairline. I'm very much looking forward to this procedure and will continue to report on my results as they take place.
