I No Longer Hate my Mirror!
I am no stranger to augmentation & improvement. When I was 19 I had my nose done (it had a hook, a huge bump and I looked like my Cousin Lenny), since 2003 I’ve had Botox and fillers administered, and in 2009 I had my breasts reduced (they just kept growing bigger- they wouldn’t stop!). So I definitely did my research. Dr. LanFranchi and his staff made the difference.
My initial consultation was never rushed, completely informative, all of my questions answered - no pressure. He explained the procedure, the post op recovery and, most important, the results I could expect. No ridiculous promises or guarantees - just honesty and assurances that I would be in competent, knowledgeable and considerate hands that wouldn’t let me down. And results that would make me feel better about myself and looking in a mirror again. He even encouraged a second appt with my husband present so that he could have his own questions answered and concerns put aside.
I am 2 months post-op and still amazed every day. The surgery was nothing (I’ve had worse dentist visits that I thought would kill me). His staff always keeps in touch between follow-up appts and I never feel like a number. I am seeing improvement every, single day and love what I see. And, just think, this is ONLY 2 months post-op! With no make-up on!
Honestly, every person has their own fears and expectations and I’m no different. But you know what finally convinced me? One of his staff members pointed out that my face is the doctor’s calling card. To paraphrase a menswear slogan, if I don’t look good - he doesn’t look good. And I am looking very good.
