5 Week Update
Still wearing my garment and foam 24/7 (other than showers, cleaning the garment, etc.). Can't really wear jeans because they make me so swollen and lumpy by the end of the day that I'm miserable. Pretty lumpy this week, for some reason, but trying to massage at least 3 times a day to help with that!
3 Week Update
The swelling is definitely more than last week and feeling the lumps. I need to cut down on the sodium, etc., but, overall, very pleased! So ready to be done with the compression garment, but I know it's super important. Only 5 more weeks with this thing!
2 Weeks Post-Op
We're able to get the compression garment smaller! Some aching in the afternoons while I'm at work. I had my 2 week appointment 2 days ago, and they said they were really pleased. Still massaging as often as possible, even through the garment. Still some bruising and swelling. My sides (flanks) are starting to hurt a little more, but I think that just means I'm getting some feeling back in them. Super pleased thus far, and really looking forward to watching how it transforms even more in the next several months! Dr. Marvel and his staff are fabulous!
