I have always hated my nose, i have a "hump" and i never wanted anyone to see me from the side view (although, i know that is impossible.) I believe i will be much more confident once i have this hump removed. I am acutally really surprised I'm going through with this.. I am terrified of needles, blood and cuts. I have a very weak stomache. 0_o I am getting married soon and i do not want to be worried about my nose when im walking down the isle, or if thats all people are noticing as i walk to my future husband. I want to feel pretty and confident which is why i am going through with this. The only thing that would stop me is if i cant get approved for CareCredit. I am praying, praying, praying that i do though. This would be a dream come true. :)

Hey! Good luck with your consult! My only suggestion would be to look for loan options from your bank or other institution. Carecredits interest rate is 22% or something crazy. I took a loan out with my bank and interest rate was only 4.9%... Just something to look into. You are beautiful by the way!

Oh wow! I'm sure I could get a much better interest rate through my bank. IF they will allow me to get a signature loan for this reason. Thank you because I wouldn't have realized that until the day of my consultation. & thank you! :)

Look at the payment options on Carecredit. I agree that other options are probably better, but if you're certain you can pay back within their promotional period, it's a good deal. If you can't or aren't sure you can, definitely try another route. I looked at that option for a while before I realized I could scrape enough together to get mine done out of pocket. Anyway, I'm a guy and had a nose very similar to yours. My new nose is pretty great and I'm sure you'll be happy with yours. You're very pretty with the nose you have, but I'm sure you'll be really happy after surgery (well, maybe a few weeks after) with how it looks. Good luck!

I will talk to them at my consult and see what the payment options are. I want to be smart about it and make sure whichever option I chose, I won't be struggling. I am very excited though! Only 4 more days! I just hope that I can be feeling back to normal and not quite so swollen by the time my wedding gets here. Lol thank you so much for the advice. I love hearing from other people who are going through(or went through) the same things. It's good to have someone to relate to! So glad I came across this site!

Thanks for sharing on RealSelf. I hope you are approved for Care Credit. Make sure your surgeons has done many rhinoplasties and can show you lots of before and after photos.

So I had my pre-op on Tuesday! I got an answer to all my questions and I'm very confident that my surgeon will do a fantastic job! I can't believe I'm actually doing this! I've always said (jokingly) that one day I would get a nose job but never actually thought it would even be a possibility, much less a reality! I am a little nervous about going under the knife, I've never had surgery or even broken a bone. I've had a minor scrape here and there but never anything major so I am very anxious/nervous. If anyone has any advice of things I should buy before the surgery please share with me. I got some arnica from my surgeon. Anything else that will help the swelling go down quicker?

Good luck!!!! You are going to be just fine! Just a little uncomfortable and sick and tired of having a cast on, but nothing too bad! I would recommend buying fresh pineapple and chopping it into tiny peices to eat after surgery. Chopped up bananas, Yogurt, baked sweet potatoes, or any soft foods because you can't really move your mouth too much. A u-shape pillow to ensure u don't bang ur nose when sleeping... I put reminders on my iPhone calendar to take my meds every 4 hours. (my dr gave me a chart of when to take what so I put those in before surgery or else I would use prob forgotten to take them) I would put frozen peas in a few ziplock baggies that way when they aren't frozen anymore u can just get some new ones... Ponds wet towelettes to wash ur face... Oh and I also took acidophilus to make sure no reactions while I was on antibiotics. Some extra gauze for your drip pad.... I think you are going to have a great recovery and look amazing in just a few days!!! Good luck!!!! Sorry if this was super long!

Thank you so much! I am very excited! I was told to get pineapple by someone else too so ill definitely do that! Plus it's very yummy! :) thank you for all the info, it helps a LOT! I have my fiancé and my dad taking care of me so I put them in charge of my medicine. I didn't want to risk being too groggy and forget if I took my meds or not lol! I'm going to try to avoid the pain meds because I don't like the way they make me feel but I'll take them if I'm in too much pain. Not looking forward to breathing out of my mouth when I sleep but it will be worth it in the end :)

Hey girl! When is your wedding?! I hope you are getting excited. I feel like you are echoing my exact thoughts. I'm not anywhere close to getting married but I HATE taking pictures. I don't mind my nose from the front angle, but from the side it's bumpy and droopy and all around unattractive. Needless to say, I've always hated my nose, and I used to put "rhinoplasty" on my Xmas lists when I a teenager. I think my parents thought I would grow out of it. But, I am glad that I waited until now (I am 25) and I am able to pay for the surgery myself. Mine is 4/25, just a few days after you. We will be 100% fine babe! Good luck and let us know how it goes. :)

My wedding is July 20th. Hoping for most of the swelling to be gone by them but If not I'm okay with it. I figured a little swelling was a lot better than a huge bump on my nose lol! I am so happy for us!! :) We will have to keep up with each other to see how we are progressing. I know you're probably just as excited as me! I look in the mirror and think "only a few more days of having this bump!" Yayy!! :) haha!! Good luck to you too! Everything will go great! :)

Sooo excited to see your results! Just a few more days :D Don't be at all nervous, the surgery part is the easiest! I had never been under before and it really wasn't so bad. Definitely a trip, though! Good luck! :)
