I’m currently 59 years old and will be 60 in March 2022. I have given birth and breastfed all 4 of my children. With each pregnancy I weighed over 225 at the time of delivery. In 2018 I adopted healthy nutrition habits and began a low impact workout routine which allowed me to lose over 65 pounds and keep the weight off. The drawback - excess skin on my tummy and it was like I lost my breasts overnight sad. A co-worker provided me with Dr. Wittpenn’s name and contact information and I will always be grateful to her. I had my consultation with Dr. Wittpenn in July 2021 and scheduled my breast augmentation (Mentor 360 cc) and tummy tuck surgery that day for November 17, 2021. I checked into the surgery center at 6:00 am and I was released to travel the 1-1/2 home around 1:30-2:00 pm that day. Recovery has been very easy and I’m very happy that I had no drains! Before and after pictures - pretty easy to tell them apart - attached (if I can get them to load). Updated on 19 May 2022: 6 month update. I’m now 60 years old and a couple of months. I’m back to my normal routine of walking/jogging and exercise. This entire process has flown by. Like others I wish I had done this years ago. I’m now a 32DDD
Dr. Wittpenn’s bedside manner could use some improvement. I felt like he didn’t believe anything I said about the pain and issues I was having due to a rather large seroma that developed in my tummy tuck that sent me to the ER twice. The left half of my stomach was/is deformed from the surgery. It’s not severe but it looks like a 5 year old made the incision and it’s very lumpy and has a “hangover” much like before surgery but smaller. The right side is perfect. He tried fixing it by cutting off a chunk of excess tissue in his office (about a 4 inch incision) and it was very painful since the numbing shots didn’t completely numb about an inch of the area so I felt all the cutting and sewing in that area...but I sucked it up and made it through. He didn’t prescribe any pain meds after that procedure and would not prescribe any after I called and asked for them. Luckily, a family member had some they let me have. I only needed about 3 to get through the first 24 hours after the procedure (I had internal and external stitches so I’m not just being a wimp here). Anyway, the in-office procedure helped my stomach but I’m still not pleased with the results. The right side looks great but the left side is still lumpy with a wavy incision. I also got a breast lift and implants at the same time and couldn’t be happier with my breasts. He did an AMAZING job on them and I couldn’t be happier with the way the scars are healing. So, Dr. Wittpenn is fabulous on breasts...not so much on the tummy...in my opinion. His prices are very reasonable. However, in hindsight, I had rather paid more for a better tummy tuck result. I will most likely have to get this one redone in 3 years when I get it paid off.
Day 1 recovery...lollipop lift with silicone gel implants under the muscle. Super sore but haven’t had to take that many pain pills. Happy with the outcome so far and can’t wait to see how they are a couple weeks from now! Will post progress pics every couple of days. Very well worth it in my opinion. My stomach is incredible and I could have done one million abs a day and never had a stomach that looks like this! I loved my doctor and I loved my results The cost of this operation love
I finally had my tummy tuck on 10/4/16. I've been wanting one since my first child was born. After my second child I had gained a lot of weight & have been trying to lose it but my stomach stayed the same. They took off 2.5 pounds off my stomach & made the cut above my belly button to pull down. It is my 4th day post op & I'm still miserable. I can't stand up straight and my back is killing me.
My whole life I was a full 36C. After breastfeeding 2 kids and losing about 40 lbs my breasts went flat!! For the last 3 years I've been a small 36B. And without a bra on my breast hung flat and lifeless, and my nipples were huge! My husband loved me the way I was, but he could tell that I was self conscious about my body. We decided together that it would be worth it (for my happiness) to have a breast augmentation with a lift and areola reduction. I used Dr. Wittpen from Nacogdoches TX and he is wonderful!! He sat down and came up with a good plan for what would suit me and my body the best! It has now been 3 months since my surgery. This was the best decision I have ever made! I have so much more confidence now. I feel like a beautiful woman again :) I am 5 ft 6 inches tall and weigh about 155 lbs. I got the 400cc memory gel implants and a lift. I was a 36B and am now a 36D.
I had the breast implant suregery done in December. It was a Christmas gift from my husband. I am pretty positive this was the best gift ever given to me! I am SO very happy with my boobs. I am not sure what else to say except I would use this doctor again and again for my needs. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY !!
Had my pre op meeting yesterday, decided to go 450/500 memory gel implant, currently I am a 38 C hopefully I will be a full D or small DD, my surgery date is Feb 2nd , wish it was already here and done, all I do is read other reviews and it has really helped to calm my nerves, I will be staying 2 nights in a hotel, so been packing my overnight bag and trying not to forget anything such as my wedge for my bed. Not sure about having to sleep on my back and at a 45 degree angle. Updated on 30 Jan 2016: Well girls my surgery date is 72 hours away, I am so axcited/anxious all rolled up, it has been a very busy week, getting things inside the house, dog/cat food, all those heavy bags. Hope everyone has a great day. Posting before pics, Updated on 2 Feb 2016: Good morning girls, I am on my way to the surgery center, cannot believe this day is finally here, all night I think that I dreamed of boobs???? See everyone on the other side of this, have a great day!! Updated on 2 Feb 2016: Larissa , told Dr.Wittpenn he has a awesome fan, (you and me) he was thrilled , went through my surgery and it was great, but painful now but very tolerable , eating crackers because of the pain med, not really hungry, just cannot believe it, now I am on the other side , part of the girls club???? Updated on 3 Feb 2016: Well girls I made it through my first night after surgery, had some pain and experience some burning sensation on my left breast last night, since that is the one he had to really work on due to my unevenness , I had to make sure to eat some crackers before taking my pain pills, had plenty of liquids, feeling great today but still having to control my pain, my Doctors office called to follow up with me and reminded me not to over due it, the last thing I want is to experience spasms. So far I give my recovery a 7 out of 10, on the good side. Updated on 4 Feb 2016: Hello girls, well it's been 2 days and my back has been really hurting me, pretty sure it's because of having to sleep at upright angle, been taking my pain pills on schedule, had burning sensation in my left nipple it did not last long, still drinking plenty of liquids and feel bloated. Still swollen more on my left breast. Updated on 5 Feb 2016: Still having problems with my sleep pattern, if it wasn't for my back hurting, I would be doing just fine, some breast pain but nothing like my lower back, took my shower this morning and it worn me out, was worried about shampooing my hair, with raising my arms, so I just wet my hair and was careful washing my breast. I know each day will be a good day, always looking at the bright side of things. My left breast is still more swollen then my right, but I am not going to worry and fret about it, not with several more weeks of healing ahead of me. Updated on 6 Feb 2016: Last night was the best night of sleep I have had, slept 5 hours and was awake for 1 hour and fell back to sleep for another 2.5 hours, my back is still hurting having to sleep on it and not on my side, woke up with these odd sensations in my left breast, from what I read from others it's normal to feel them, someone referred to them as zingers and that's exactly what they feel like, I feel like I need to hold onto my boobs when I walk around, feels like they will fall out of my chest, but that's normal as well, so glad that I read and chatted with other women going through the same things, my breasts still look rough from the surgery but they will get better as time goes on. Have not really been hungry, hope everyone else is doing great with their recoverys . Updated on 7 Feb 2016: Having some soreness on my left breast, not having to take my pain pills except for every 6-7 hours, my back does not hurt me as much, guess I am getting use to it, still have swelling, I have been dong very minimal things around the house, no housework for right now, just empty the dishwasher and made a very simple meal, that took enough of my energy.. Updated on 10 Feb 2016: So far my recovery has been great, virtually no more pain, except some pressure.. Updated on 14 Feb 2016: Happy Valentines Day ladies, it's been 12 days since my surgery and I am dong great, woke up with no pain, just some swelling on my left boob, since I had more breast tissue removed from my left boob, I expect it will take a bit longer for it. So happy I waited at my age to have my BA, better now then not at all, it brings back the vigor in life. Updated on 24 Feb 2016: Everything is healing nicely, no more pain, not much discomfort, not able to sleep on my side yet, I think now I am getting used to back sleeping.
I was referred to Dr. Wittpenn by a friend. I went in and the office staff and Dr. Wittpenn were all very nice and helpful. They explained everything and the cost. The day of surgery I was so nervous but the staff at Nacogdoches Surgery Center were great from the front desk to the recovery room. My follow up visits and results were great. I love the staff, Dr. Wittpenn and the surgery center. I plan on going back for lipo to my hip and thighs! Maybe even an upper eye lid lift so this 52 year old woman can look younger! Hats off to Dr. Wittpenn, his staff and Nacogdoches Surgery Center. I would highly recommend them. I give them 5 stars.
After losing 90 pounds with weight loss surgery, I had no boobs left. I went to Dr. Wittpenn and he was just awesome. He's real easy to talk to. His office was extremely professional and so accommodating. I went back for my one week postop visit yesterday. My boobs are all that I have ever dreamed, and I'm only one week out. Imagine how much better they will be in a couple months!
