I cannot fault my experience with the Private clinic & Adrian Richards.
Having a boob augmentation has something I have always talked about for years but due to loosing weight and it coming off my boobs in the last couple years it was something I was really serious about this time. I had done so much research before hand (even watching videos on Adrian’s instagram how the surgery is performed) and I was very happy with my decision to go ahead with the private clinic.
From the start of my journey from the initial virtual consultation to the face to face nothing felt rushed as I had previously been to another surgeon at a different clinic and I was very rushed and left feeling anxious about my decision. So it was a completely different experience with Adrian & the Private clinic. Nothing was to much trouble and Melissa was so helpful and caring from start to finish.
I was even able to go and see Adrian again for a second consultation to go over any more questions and try my implants again and show photos to make sure I was 100% happy.
My surgery date came around so quickly & it felt so surreal to be on my way to the hospital. I was just so excited it was happening and I was nervous about being put to sleep as it was my first time but there is honestly nothing to be scared of!
The excitement did take over any nerves, but I met my anesthetise Moein who was lovely and funny and made me feel at ease. Nurse Leanne did all my pre op checks with me and she was so caring. They are so efficient with all the checks and go over it a lot so you know that your in the best care and nothing to worry about!
I met Adrian before the surgery to be drawn on and show my photos again and ask any questions & then Melissa talked me through how the day was going to go. She explained I would walk into the theatre so nothing comes as a surprise and you know what to expect. They know your nervous so they keep talking to you and you even have a heated blanket. Because I had mole removed on my back first I had to lay on my side so it felt really comfy. I was talking about my upcoming wedding and honeymoon and Melissa was holding my hand the whole time and I started feeling really happy and then my next memory is waking up in recovery with the nurses thinking I was still in the operating threatre. I was so happy!
To anyone else that is scared of the GA, don’t be as they make it such a nice experience for you you don’t even realise it’s happening. You wake up feeling like you have had the best sleep.
I can’t thank Adrian Richards enough, he is so experienced, caring, kind and I’m so glad I went with him after friends recommendations. There isn’t one bad review about him and there is a reason for it because he’s the best. To anyone thinking of having surgery with Adrian I highly recommend & I would recommend him to all of my friends and family.
I’m now 5 days post op, recovery has been not to bad at all. The first couple days your swollen & everything feels tight/sore but it’s manageable with pain killers. Sleeping is hard but a pregnancy pillow helps and you get used to sleeping on your back. My boobs are getting softer each day and dropping & I love them already.
The nurse called me the day after my op to check how I was doing. I am going back Monday to have my dressing removed and then in 4-6 weeks for my post op check up. I am so happy & excited to see my final results! I will share them on here.
