Incredible experience - beyond my expectations and I am blessed

I don’t even know where start! Beyond my expectations and I am blessed ! I work with plastic surgery post surgery recovery retreats and came across many of Dr Kohens patients, I absolutely fell in love with his body art work/sculpting and how clean his work was. I am 46 yo and had 20 years experience with nursing, I myself lost 120 lb previously and was quiet disappointed with my body to the point of depression due to loose skin, loose bottom and embarrassment of undressing, again at 46y it’s not easy to maintain your skin tightness after so much weight loss, I went to at least 5 plastic surgeons in BV and everyone of them told me I had to have two separate procedures /surgeries if I wanted to have great results, it would include butt lift / arm lift and I was just too skinny (135lb) to have all that done, I didn’t want to have all this scarring after and wanted to have my body perfect. I was looking for the following procedures: muscle tightening, lipo 360, pubic lift, tummy tuck, breast implant replacement with breast lift, J-plasma and fat transfer to buttock and of course wanted to have great results, I didn’t look forward to have 2 surgeries and major scarring under my arms and thighs ! Every time I looked at other doctors work I always compared it to Dr Kohens art, so I’ve decided to gain around 25-30 lb to have a little fat so I can have enough to fill my butt.
From medical standpoint and as a patient I am confidently recommending Dr Kohen and here is why…
He is real, straight to the point and very compassionate , he doesn’t promise unrealistic results and will be honest with you on what to expect, he truly underpromises and overdelivers ! Myria ( his assistant ) will recommend best possible procedure for you before you see Dr Kohen, me as a very cautious nurse was very nervous as I was trusting to reshape my whole body, the day of the surgery I hardly had any anxiety, Nurse Anna was with me from beginning to the end providing best possible care I could possibly imagine, we laughed, she made me feel comfortable and explained what to expect, shortly after Anesthesiologist came to talk to me and she was the most amazing chilling person who made me feel like I was a priority, explained every detail of the surgery process and what to expect after, Angie was such a sweetheart and super official with all the process, Dr Kohen came to do his art on my body, drew the lines and explained what are the best body parts to be liposuctioned and asked me to show him pictures of what I would like to look like, then I was taken to OR and was amazed on how comfortable I felt, I wasn’t even scared nor worried about results anymore, I had a full 100% trust which is very important to have between doctor and the patient! As I drifted away chatting with a beautiful anesthesiologist about how she will protect my eyelashes and I will wake up even more beautiful… I’ve drifted to sleep…. I woke up with Anna sitting right next to me right away asking me how I felt and how my pain was also explaining how procedure went with absolute wonderful care at post-op. I had zero nausea.
Me being a nurse, having all kinds of experiences and hearing horror stories from other patients I was ABSOLUTELY blown away by care, love, professionalism and compassion I’ve received by Dr Kohen and his staff ! Doctor took his time to sculpt my body best possible way and to choose best breast implant that will be most appropriate for my body, I am amazed by how he paid attention on my wishes ( 7 hour surgery ), incisions are precisely clean and perfect, I’ve had minimal pain to lipo sites in comparison to other patients I’ve cared for which is usually the most painful sites after lipo! EMTs came and transferred me to the gurney and took me to the hotel room where I was to stay and actually was able to get up from gurney and walked to bed myself where I was properly positioned to protect my gorgeous butt. Going forward my incisions are healing very well considering i’m only a week after surgery, my tummy look AMAZING, my incision are so narrow and so low I will be able to wear any bikini I want with minimal scarring I can already tell, my waist is hourglass, my hips are gorgeous and my butt OMG ( I almost dont want for swelling to go down LoL) … I’m so in love with my body now my whole attitude and life changed and i’m not even healed 100%! I am a happy person, I smile and send love , having positive attitude and looking forward to show off. I even stayed on Tylenol on day 3 because my pain was so tolerable ! I can keep writing and writing because i’m so ecstatic about the whole experience but I think you guys got what I am saying.
Few more things I have to say and recommend which are vital: don’t save $ on you recovery and take it serious because that’s where great results occur, be patient and follow instructions, please please spend extra money and get Lymphatic massages, it is very very important to get rid of that extra fluid, it will give you more energy and just make you feel fabulous after, Carol massage therapist is so marvelous, very spiritual and extremely carrying beautiful person inside n out! Hyperbaric will speed up your healing incredibly! As a nurse I knew what to expect and recommended to program yourself that first 3 days will be a little tough to use restroom and getting in n out of bed so I strongly advise to go to aftercare which I even did myself so I don’t pull any muscle or stitch while getting up or fixing pillows, proper positioning is vital … although I walked 2 hours after that major surgery in the hotel room and was able to ambulate next day with very mild assistance only because of the dizziness from medications ( I never take any), after 3rd day I already walked 2 blocks to Dr Kohens office.
Positive attitude with great relationship and trust between patient and doctor is vital ! Never think negative and take it as a beautiful experience, some amazing magical investment in yourself and I guarantee you that your recovery will be a breeze !
Thank you Dr Kohen and your beautiful crew for all the care and love I have received and continue to receive … My intuition told me for get go that you were the one who’ll make me happy again and love by body ! ( and not only me lol) I should of never went to anyone else and doubted because I knew that you were the one to trust !
I will post pictures before and after little later as I heal a bit better, get my drains removed and some of my bruising/swelling subside!
