I had a full mommy makeover with Dr. Kohan 5 months post partum— 360 lipo, breast revision/lift, and BBL. I’m in my 40’s and after two kids in 3 years, breastfeeding both, I couldn’t wait to get my body back. I had previous surgeries before the babies in my 20s (lipo 2x, breast augs 2x, and BBL 1x). My areolas were really big due to the previous doctor doing a doughnut incision, which stretched them and I wanted them smaller. I also wanted to exchange the implants and have the breasts lifted; after breast feeding the girls were drooping. My right breast had formed a capsule as well, so the doctor had to go in and remove it. I was scared about the anchor incision scarring badly because I am olive skinned and knew that I have the tendency to scar, but I also knew I didn’t have a choice if I wanted perky boobs. My breasts turned out beautifully…they’re so pretty and natural looking. My nipples are perfect. Do I have scarring? Yes, some- but I also know that my body heals that way based on my past surgeries, and they are not as bad as I feared. The Dr. has been treating some of the thicker parts with steroids and they look much better already. Also, I’m only 4 months post op so I’m hoping they’ll get even thinner. I really wanted to avoid a tummy tuck if possible to avoid more scars, and Dr. Kohan was honest but supportive about taking a chance with lipo and Renuvion instead. It turned out great. Since I had previous lipo twice, he really had to fight against old scar tissue, but he shaped me nicely. My shape is naturally a bit rectangular/athletic and I wanted a teeny tiny waist, but my foundation isn’t built that way. I had to manage my own expectations if I wasn’t going to do rib remodeling (I wanted it, I just didn’t have that kind of recovery time with 2 babies!). But he managed to give me a shape and carved out my waist as much as possible, while adding to my hips and butt to build out that curve. The amount of work he had to do with this entire revision surgery of the breasts, old lipo, and bbl, was formidable. He was still able to make it look natural and feminine. He’s truly talented. Oh I also forgot to mention that my past bbl had some fat necrosis, so he had to navigate that whole issue when adding the fat grafts to my butt. Dr. Kohan is an absolute sweetheart and treats his patients like friends. You get the sense that he cares about you and your results in a sincere way. I was super anxious because I was post partum, and just generally nervous about having such a big procedure. He met me a couple of times to hear me out and address my concerns. He was attentive and patient. He has a great bedside manner, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. For example, on the day of the surgery I couldn’t figure out how to put on the compression socks (was probably just nervous) and he literally put the socks on for me, like on my un-pedicured feet lol. I have met a lot of doctors and none of them have dressed me before. After surgery he gives you his direct number and answers right away- I’m still texting him with random questions. In terms of his staff, they’re all really nice and friendly- Soso and Princess. Mariah can come off a little strong at first, but she’s very sweet and SUPER helpful. Pricing- so I had a couple of consultations, and Dr. Kohan’s pricing was on par with the others in Beverly Hills. Maybe a little higher, but he was also much more experienced, had consistently good reviews, and I knew the amount of work that was going into my revision. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my results and highly recommend him. My husband is ironically anti-plastic surgery, but he LOVES my results and says it was worth every penny. Dr. Kohan walked me through services in a detailed and informative manner. I literally do not trust any other Doctor with my face. I did the Facial Laser, Forma, and PRP treatment.
