My experience with Dr. Kohan was so positive from beginning to end. I initially came to him one year after 360 lipo, arm lipo and BBL with another Los Angeles surgeon that left me feeling disappointed and underwhelmed by the results. I was hoping to get the result I wanted all along, but was very nervous about going through the surgery process a second time. I carefully did my research and met with several surgeons to determine the best fit for me, and Dr. Kohan stood out as the obvious choice during our consultation.

I immediately noted several green flags when I met him for an evaluation:
-He did not speak negatively of the surgeon who did my first operation, even though the results were clearly...unimpressive
-He did not speak negatively about my body, and in fact made me feel very positively about the body I had. We discussed minor improvements he could make, and also identified areas we would leave alone, such as my abdomen. He didn't make a revision seem urgent or necessary, and didn't pressure me.
-He had tons of experience with BBLs, and with revision surgeries. He has worked with so many different body types and understood that I was aiming for improved shape but still a natural looking body.
-He identified the areas on my body that he could help with surgery, and they were exactly the areas that were bothering me. I felt reassured that he saw exactly what I was seeing.
-He provided honest feedback about what expectations were realistic, and what expectations were not

More green flags:
-His staff was busy, but organized and communicative. It helped me feel totally prepared going into surgery, and dealing with post-op care. Everyone in the office was warm and excited for me.
-His bedside manner is exactly what you would want when you are nervously going into surgery. He is warm, relaxed, confident and genuinely cares about his patients. He reached out personally after my surgery to check on me, and I really appreciated that.

He has a sparkling personality and a boatload of experience. But the best part about choosing Dr. Kohan was the results. Despite not having a large amount of fat to work with, he somehow managed to gave me the shape and volume I desired, and he exceeded the expectations that were set. My only regret is not going to him the first time, but I'm grateful to have found him for my second (and last) surgery!

Dr. Kohan and his wonderful team gave me back the confidence I had lost. For years I had put off proceeding with surgery because of the fear. The fear of the outcome, fear of the surgery itself and the fear of the recovery. Being a mommy to five kids, I worried about not being able to care for them due to my recovery. I finally got the courage to contact his office and was blessed with an angel, Myria. She texted me step by step and held my hand throughout the whole process. I must admit that at first I didn’t believe how easy she was making everything out to be but after having my surgery, I am so happy she kept reassuring me that everything would be fine. If it weren’t for her encouraging words, I probably would’ve never had my dream surgery. She literally helped me from start to finish. From providing me with hotels in the area, airports close by, restaurants nearby, pre-ops, medications, supplies for recovery and just being available 24/7 for any questions I had. My recovery was a dream! I had lipo360, tummy tuck and bbl. I am so shocked and impressed on how smooth my recovery was. My pain level was a 3/10. Dr. Kohan is a true artist. His skills and techniques are impeccable. Everyone who sees my results are so blown away on how amazing I look. My tummy tuck incision is so thin and clean, my belly button is cute and my stomach unreal. Dr. Kohan a sweetheart! He makes you feel so comfortable, answers all your questions and has a good sense of humor to help distract you with any nerves you may have. The office is always available to you when you have any questions or concerns and so is Dr. Kohan. The staff is so kind, caring and so, so sweet. The only regret I have is not doing this sooner. Thank you Dr. Kohan and staff for giving me the confidence I had lost and these amazing results.
