The BEST Surgeon!

**Breast Augmentation, Lipo to Inner Thighs and Flanks, C-Section Scar Revision (Removal of C-Section “Shelf”)**
Having worked in healthcare for almost 16 years, I tend to look through both my nursing lens and a patient lens when picking my medical “people.” And I am picky! I wanted someone that was a perfectionist about even the smallest details, was knowledgeable and experienced, had happy and satisfied staff, was confident but not cocky, had great bedside manner, listened well and most importantly delivered. Dr. Wolfe was not my first consult for the procedures I was interested in, but once I met him, he was my last. He far exceeded my expectations for a surgeon from both perspectives. From the moment I was greeted in the office to now over 2 months post op - the whole process has been wonderful! And I am loving the results!
At the first consultation appointment I was impressed with the beautiful presentation of information about Dr Wolfe, The Center for Cosmetic Surgery and the “what to expect” while I waited only a few minutes in the waiting room. The majority of our consultation time was spent in his office discussing my desired outcomes, answering questions, learning procedure options, getting to know Dr. Wolfe and looking at many photos of his work. I appreciated that time to build rapport with him before proceeding to the vulnerable part of the appt - looking at the specifics of my body. He was straightforward with what would work well for my body and what may not. It was about making me the best version of me - not just what’s the most expensive option.
My Patient Counselor was Andrea and she has been lovely through the whole process. She has been in every visit with Dr. Wolfe and I and has been great at helping me make informed decisions and answering all my questions. She priced out the various procedure plan options along the way so I could decide what worked best for me and my family.
Dr. Wolfe was able to meet with me a few more times before surgery as we finalized the details of my plan. He made sure I was 100% comfortable. I appreciated that!
Surgery day went smooth. I was extremely impressed with the surgical center side of the office. Everything was straight forward and on time. Having worked in surgical areas in a hospital, that is not always the case due to unforeseen circumstances - thus, a bonus to having it done at a surgical center and one where Dr. Wolfe has control over every aspect of it. Dr. Brian Hopkins was my anesthesiologist and he was just as wonderful as everyone else I had interacted with up to that point. Again, talking to him as both a nurse and a patient - I knew I was in good hands. The nurses were also lovely and communicated so well!
Recovery has been fine! Knowing it is still major surgery, I have been able to give my body grace with any ache, pain, bruising and swelling that came initially! Keeping expectations reasonable is a must for any surgery and recovery. I appreciated how accessible the nurses were for questions during the recovery process. I liked being able to text them for questions and didn’t have to worry about missing the call back. My follow up appointments have been right on time and everyone in the office is knowledgeable enough to answer questions!
