Finally, Tomorrow
WORTH IT
5’2 125 lbs, mother of 3 within 5 years. I have always wanted bigger boobs. In fact my mother, sister and I have joked with each other for years about our small, sad post baby chest.
Going into the process of choosing a surgeon was a no brainer for me, as I was fortunate enough to have worked in the OR with the PS I chose, as well as a few others in the area. Dr. Atagi’s natural results and artistic approach to the female body are amazing. She is also incredibly focused on sterile technique and her surgical assistant has been with her for a very long time. If you’re considering a PS in the Denver area, I cannot say enough good things about Dr Atagi, as well as the entire office.
I went in two different times to try on sizers and everyone was very helpful. I didn’t go in saying “I want to be ___ size”, rather I went in with “This is the look that I want to achieve”
We chose a range of cc’s and I know that she will ultimately choose the best size for my body.
While I am nervous, it is only for the recovery process. I have no doubts about my surgical experience and outcome.

Recovery Day 1
To start, I had a lot of people tell me that I was thin enough and didn’t need a tummy tuck. See my below picture and I’m sure you’ll see why I wanted one.
The entire surgical experience was great. I had fantastic nurses and of course my surgeon was absolutely amazing. The first time I stood up, just so my nurse could adjust my abdominal binder, was shockingly difficult and painful. I had only taken Tylenol for the first 2 hours I was in recovery, and I definitely regretted that.
Im a small person with a high pain tolerance so a low does narcotic is all that I need. My nurse gave me IV pain medication and an oral muscle relaxer. I felt great and drifted off back to sleep. At that point I was awake enough to start getting ready to leave.
Sleeping wasn’t awful, I ended up in the recliner on the comfy couch. The best advice I can give:
Take the pain medication. Set an alarm to take it in the middle of the night. I had 2 of my babies without medication and this abdominal pain is intense.
I read reviews of people needing a walker. While personally for me, I didn’t want one. I did however, discover that my daughters cheap umbrella stroller is awesome. I use it to help support me while walking but the best part is that I can toss things in the seat and take them back to my resting place.
I absolutely do not feel any breast pain at all.

Day 3
Last night I got behind on my pain medication and I have to say: take the muscle relaxer on schedule!!
Im feeling a little better than I was yesterday, but definitely not anywhere near back to normal.

Following your journey as a fellow Denver area resident. I'm also close in height and weight to you, but a lot older--lol. So I will love to see your pics and read about your progress:)
